i really dont get the doris infatuation. like she knows her shit front to back and she can dribble in heels. but the thirst level for her is really real. its gotta be the glasses right?
Most dudes would probably love to have a woman who was into basketball and knew what she was talking about. Thirst is probably related to that, or maybe she reminds them of Nina Hartley

As far as female Broadcasters go, I don't know her name, but she calls Suns games and the few broadcasts that I watched left a good impression.
Stephanie Ready is great of course.

She is also like the only side-line reporter that can ask specific question that shouldn't just have a "yes or no" answer and it sucks when Pop stonewalls her on them.
She needs to call more games, because she is pretty good about that, too.
By Method Go To PostUgh. Foster is such a shit ref-.
By vire Go To PostAren't the home teams like 1-14 when Foster officiated?idk but GS under Kerr are 4-4 with Scott Foster as a ref and 25-6 without him. (playoff only)
Foster and Brothers are the ultimate "lets get this 1-1"-squad activated by Silver.

Tim Kawakami (a SF bay area sports writer) had this to write about the money the w's / cavs series is making and how it can even raise the cap for next year higher than people are predicting:
http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2016/06/05/game-2-notes/
If the Warriors sweep, that means only two home games, and a conservatively estimated gross Finals gate of about $27.4M.
If it stretches to five games, which produces a third home game, the gross Finals gate gets above $40M, at least.
If this goes all the way to seven games, and adds a fourth home game, the gross Finals gate stretches something close to $55M…
OK, we don't know how many home games there will be. So let's just use the two home games we know the Warriors are getting. That's $27.4M, conservatively.
Add that to the conservatively estimated $68.4M from the previous 10 home playoff dates.
We're talking a minimum of $95.8M in Warriors postseason gate receipts.
And for every extra Finals home game beyond these two, just add another $14M or so.
** We can try to figure out how much money Joe Lacob, Peter Guber and their investors are pocketing from this, but it's almost impossible.
Just figure that it's about 33% of the gross total… but 33% of $100M as extra profit off the top goes a long way when you know they have a San Francisco arena effort they're funding privately and they are looking at this year's luxury-tax bill and maybe into the future with new players for the roster.
I'm also told that the NBA is wide-eyed about this playoff revenue stream… and already knows that next season's salary-cap figure will absolutely go up because of it.
Wait and see: It has been estimated that the cap number jump to $89M (up from $70M this season), and the lux-tax number at $108M…
But when its actually announced that the cap figure will be above those numbers, as I guess they will be, you can pinpoint the surprise rise in some ways to this Warriors influx.
-By the way, the Warriors very much will be helped if the salary-cap and luxury-tax figures go up, because they would like to make a lot of moves this summer, and this would give them more wiggle room.
This gusher of money is moving the needle of an entire sport.
http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2016/06/05/game-2-notes/
Not only will they be making that much, they're largely able to do it because of one player's performance in one game. Klay paying back his salary in spades.
So conflicted. Game 2 Or Game of Thrones...
Both inevitably will have big spoilers the moment they are done.

Call me crazy but I think Cleveland needs Mozgov in this series. He was able to hurt GS last year's Finals, especially Draymond Green... yeah they'll get PnR'd to death but they're gonna PnR to death Love/Thompson anyway, might as well improve the rebounding and rim protection.
The other thing... has Mozgov played more than 10 minutes in any playoff game that wasn't a blowout? He may not even be game/"get shitted on by LeBron for no reason" shape.

Mozgov hurt them until they ran ezeli against him. He couldn't keep up with ezeli on offense, and ezeli was atheltic enough to stay with mzogov on defense / stop his offensive rebounding.
That's what ended Clevelands chances last year.
Mozgov's best game was also Cleveland's worst for a big reason.
Doesn't really matter though. He's been washed ever since that last injury. Has no confidence or explosion on the court.

By giririsss Go To PostYour Crazy.Well at least that then opens up "Hack-A-Ezeli" for them. Cleveland gotta at least pick how they want to be destroyed.

Look, it's known in history that Gozer the Traveller has appeared in a pre-chosen form. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii, the Traveller came as a large and moving Torb. Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex Supplicants a new form was chosen for him... that of a Giant Sloar. Cleveland has the right to choose and at least try to gameplan a counter for their impending destruction.
The biggest thing going into tonight of course is if Lue can create rotations that consistently control the pace of the game. Cleveland's roster naturally moves towards that, but its the shot selection and defensive lapses that push things right back into danger.
Love and Kyrie learning what team defense is would be great too.

By DY_nasty Go To PostLove and Kyrie learning what team defense is would be great too.Shumpert learning how to navigate a screen and J.R. not doing something dumb on defense would help also. However realistically how often is that going to happen, and then happen repeatedly over the series? Like, more times than not in Game 1 J.R. actually played good defense on Klay (stunningly). Can he continue to do that the rest of the series? All signs point to no…
Its the Cavs team defense that's the issue.
Like... they're merely an above average team on D really.
