By Rob Go To Postcool, i can watch that closeout game on friday.
We might have lost to the Cavs but I'm still bummed we blew that series.
More specifically, that we blew that fourth quarter at home. :(
Dubs in 5.

Warriors in 6. I might be being generous but we'll see.

nice. i love friday/saturday nba. wish they did it more. always superfun at the bars and it gets everyone revved up for the night.
By Freedom = $1.05 Go To Posti need the cavs to get this so that lebron comes back to his summer homei think you'd have a better chance if he get swept.
By Dipro Go To Posti think you'd have a better chance if he get swept.naw, he will have to retire in ohio if he doesn't get a ring. He wont bail until he does
I feel like this series will come down to Kevin Love. The idea of a Love-Irving PnR on defense sounds horrifying against a Curry-Green screen.
Cavs have to make good adjustments. Maybe play Mozgov. Definitely defend Green with Thompson, Frye, Lebron...anyone but Love. And whoever Kyrie defends probably is also a bad thing.
Warriors will put Klay on Kyrie leaving Steph on the worst perimeter player, whether it be JR, Shump, RJef...doesn't matter. Steph conserves energy on defense. Iggy obviously lines up against Lebron with some looks from Barnes, Green, and Klay.
Honestly, this is a series where I can see the small lineup of Steph-Klay-Iggy-Barnes-Green really hurting Cleveland. Put Barnes on Love. I think he can handle it just fine, allowing Green to play Triston and be a helper.
Think Warriors will return to playing fast while Cavs will have to try to slow things down.
Regardless, 2 main things I'm looking at is what the hell the Cavs do with Love and how the 3 ball is going. If Cavs want to win the series, they gotta be good on those two things (don't have to win the 3 point battle, but keep it close).
honestly, I feel like the Warriors could complete this series quickly if they find how to expose Cleveland early on and Lue can't adjust (or if there isn't one).

I'm mostly rooting for GS because I like Klay due to his father and brother. Otherwise I would probably root for the Cavs because fuck Nor Cal teams.

Of course, the Celtics will have to make the most of all of those assets to earn this high a ranking. Looking at Ainge’s track record in the past, it feels like a good bet. Ainge might be the best deal-maker in the league, with the possible exception of San Antonio’s R.C. Buford. In short, no team is better positioned to be a challenger to the Cavs in the East for the next three seasons.

This NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors isn't just a rematch, it's a remake. It's the new-millennium version of Magic Johnson versus Larry Bird.
Damn it ESPN lol

You laughed reading that as well?
By blackace Go To PostDamn it ESPN lolWhy is the media so desperate to force narratives..
It writes itself. This is the rematch of last years Finals only this time both teams are healthy. No asterisks (from the haters), no excuses.
Why do they always have to make some absurd comparison that doesn't even fit?

It's a super long article too that makes no sense...
it's not like ESPN pushed Melo / LBJ as Magic / Bird or something...oh wait
Anyone that knew about rivalries in the past years of the NBA knows that there's no real rivalries in the current NBA. Shit dies in the 90's

Just remember, if you root for Cleveland and by some chance Steph gets injured again and the Cavs make it through. You will never. Ever. Ever. EVER. stop hearing shit from Syphon and cavs bandwagon.
I wonder how many quarters it takes before LeBron's "revenge" narrative ends and he realizes Cavs ain't shit.
As a Heat fan I only get pissed the fuck off when people say that Cavs big 3 > Lebron Heat big 3
At least Wade and Bosh (especially) know how to play defense.
I mean my god you're benching Kevin fucking Love late in games because he's such a defensive liability.

Only a clown would say that. The Heat's #3 is levels above the Cavs #2
