There is alot of made up stuff or gossip that he reports though.
Due Aubameyangs long contract, City would have to officially ask Dortmund for permition to negotiate with him.
That is something that would be known to both local journalists and other german media outlets.
They would immediately report it, as we're speaking about a potentially new transfer record for the league.
So unless we're hearing a proper source here, it's just gossip again.

I mean City can afford him, that isn't the problem.
Why would Dortmund sell him ? There is obviously the point where it would be economical madness not to let him go. We're speaking about a sum of 100m€+, in that case Dortmund would surely agree to negotiations.
If that would be the case, I wouldn't even be angry. For that amount of money you can buy 2-4 great strikers.
Doesn't make much sense for any involved.
City doesn't need him, Auba wants to stay unless it's Real, Dortmund surely doesn't want to sell with 2 big players already gone and another one that could be also on the way.
