The "problem" is I'm already super used to the speed of the broadsword and now all the heavier weapons feel so fucking slow in comparison.
Anyway, just gotta stick with one for a bit and I'll be fine. I wanna go with a STR build this time, even though I'm more of a DEX guy by heart. Let's see how I'll like Artorias' sword.

the OP thing about great swords (and Berserk's greatsword for that matter) is that you get what we call 'hyper armor' during a few swings.
Hyper Armor refers to a window during an attack when you cannot be staggered.
With certain weapons, when performing an attack, you will receive Hyper Armor during a portion of the attack animation. The number of frames you receive is dependent on your equipment load
Which basically means you could tank a couple of hits to the face while dishing out some damage. Try its weapon art for example and you'll see what I mean...devastating
It's dependent on poise and not equipment load actually.
Benteke is still a very decent striker. Liverpool move didn' go well for him, but he'll score for Palace.
