with all due respect I don't think any of you is qualified to label him world class or not based on a handful of international games here and there.
we've been watching him for years, 60 games per season.
he IS world class (now), or at the VERY VERY worst, you won't find anybody better than him in that age bracket.
the mids who are (were?) better are all in their 30s now or late 20s/not for sale.
he isn't performing to the best of his abilities with France, for one reason or another. Messi-ritis? Unfamiliar role? Perhaps.
