By Laboured Go To PostFuck me he's going to come of this looking really fucking bad isn't he.Why does Messi have the need to tax evade? I don't get it, he makes millions.
How greedy do you have to be ffs? Is it worth the bad PR?
For everything we criticize Ronaldo for, you have to give it to him for not having much controversy surrounding him, all things considering.
Found out today my brother might be switching allegiances from Villa to Pool Loooool. So much for loyalty. He's a bit of a cunt to be fair.
Everton must be throwing piles of cash at Koeman if he is leaving. Southampton seems much more attractive at the moment.

Messi probably doesnt know a shit about taxes.
Like Neymar.
By Yurt Go To PostTrue that, Dani, we make our own luck. ;)He splits opinions cause he says whatever he wants & wears funny clothes. But goddamn it, Barcelona lose a HUGE personality & a champion. Take care of him Yurt.
Legend.
By Pele.gif Go To PostMessi probably doesnt know a shit about taxes.Yeah. to be fair, it seems to be more to do with the people behind the players handling their affairs. Ignorance is no excuse of course (at least for the law), but he's a guy who was taken at age 12 and has done nothing but football, so I doubt they know what's even going on. Their families and representatives on the other hand are probably in an environment away from the spotlight where they are bombarded with opportunities to make money and they take it too far. Even Mascherano had to pay some extras recently, didn't he?

This goes for every other footballer, rapper or whatever else industry this seems to happen often.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostHe makes millions, he can afford the BEST accountants, that's such a lazy excuse.I'm not saying they shouldn't be punished btw, just that when Messi comes up like an idiot and says: "I just sign whatever my father puts in front of me", I totally believe he does and he's not some tax evading mastermind. Not saying it is an excuse either.

Yeah Messi and Neymar dont look like the most intelligent people out of the pitch. If i was in their situation, i'd probably hire the best firm on taxes in the world and just forget about it.
Dont know if it did affect Messi on the pitch, but in Neymar's case it really did affect his performances.
That's the problem when you have your family doing it and they aren't professionals, afaik. You earn enough money to keep them living like kings even if they dont work with you anyway.

His father should also be scrutinized BTW, if his father is acting as the "administrator" of the funds then he's as guilty.
Most contracts also have a read and approved stipulation, so if he just signs it and doesn't read it he's still a fool and also guilty.
By Mr Cola Go To PostHope we get some business done soonCity are reportedly going after Marquinhos now as well, there'll be nobody left to sign soon enough.
6th place here we come.
By Francis Go To PostRonaldo is donating his entire 600k CL final bonus to the UN charity. He'll earn it back even before the UN cashes the cheque.😒
What a homem.
I'm sure there are posts from me at that other place where I'm hyping Ganso. Likely around the same time that Lucas and Neymar were building their stock and looking to make the jump. Honestly thought Ganso was going to be snatched up first but then the injuries started piling up and he needed to rebuild. Happy to hear things are working out for him. There's still time for that big pay day if someone wants to gamble.
The telepathic connection that Messi has with Alves has officially come to an end after 8 legendary seasons.

By KP Go To PostFor reals I'd be disappointed if he left this summer after everything he's said. Just another cunt I guess.
Wouldn't mind him leaving next summer when his contracts up. Sure we have his replacement lined up anyway.
it's happening, kp.
By Bungie Go To PostDembele is going to crush this Gungoan cunt next season
If he's still hurt then yeah. But when healthy Gundogan is one of the 2 or 3 best all around midfielders in the world.
Gündogan won't even get to play any football until October/November. I would hardly hail it as a brilliant buy just yet considering.
Pretty weird that City's first signings under Guardiola are set to be two players with sustained injuries for £70-75 million total.

By Laboured Go To PostYes but I think Everton have some really good raw talent out of which Koeman could make a respectable side that is at least as good as this Southampton side. They do right now, but what do you think are the chances that any of Lukaku, Stones or Barkley are there by the beginning of the season? Koeman ain't gonna persuade them to stick around. They'll still have some talent like Deulofeu and that Galloway kid, but that's nothing special and no better than Southampton.
Meanwhile, with the TV money influx even all of the extra money that those sales or the new owner might bring will amount to much less than it used to. Maybe Moshiri has made promises of City esque money, but I think its more likely he's just been offered a City esque salary.

who's the other player?
Koeman doesnt seem like a prick, I think the fact that this is happening again leads me to believe there is some kind of ceiling at Southampton whether it be transfer policy or what I dont know.
I imagine Everton probably harbor thoughts of top four etc and probably have a more sizeable kitty. But again I'm Koeman I'm thinking its likely three of my biggest stars want to and will leave, everton are just a mess atm.

Ganso at some point in 2011 was the bigger prospect from the 3 you mentioned here.
Then he got a big knee injury and spent the next 2-3 years being so shit that Santos sold him to São Paulo (one of their archrivals).
I think he has the skill to start for us atm.
Wherever Koeman goes I hope Shane Long follows. He's in the form of his career thanks in part to the manager.
If Koeman leaves. We should try for Van Djik imo. He could definitely replace Mertesacker's role in the team.
Luiz Gustavo has asked to be withdrawn from Brazil's Copa América squad.
Things sure are going splendidly well for Team Dunga.

Apparently Bayern contacted Morata's representatives. If Renato Sanches was any indicator...Bayern can close shit up fast.

Players with qualities a Guardiola team demands are rarely in the market. I'm sure he'd like to have Paul Pogba or Marco Verratti instead but there's no way to get them.

What a time to be alive.
This ensures Casemiro's place on the first 11. Would love to see Allan in the team.
But Dunga's gonna Dunga.
Edit: yep, he called some Walace from Grêmio lol

At the time Neymar to me just looked like another flashy kid with weird hairdos that could go either way. Never anticipated he'd become what he is now, even for the Brazil NT. But yeah, once his knees started giving in so young I thought he was done. Glad to hear he's back in top form.

Let's see if Dunga will at least play him. He surely deserves the call, he's performing at São Paulo since last year and not only nationaly, but as well on the libertadores.
By Marston Go To PostGood.
Indeed. Think Morata would flop so bad here.
By Hitch Go To PostThink Barkley will stay, as nobody will offer more than £25m for him
Yeah I dont know why I thought he had an electric season, it was merely a productive one.
I think he needs the move tbh, he needs to play with better players to improve the areas he's sorely lacking in.

There's a ton of smoke around Lewandowski. Assuming this is true, which is a big assumption to make, I'd like to believe it's simply posturing from the board to Lewy's agent.

Again I know nothing about the guy really and my impressions come from Yurt and Zabo, but why do you think he would flop so bad at Arsenal.
