The Mchale signing is more worrying than Smith. Smith will be getting 2 mill. If he is a cancer to this team then get rid of him and keep it moving with the development of TJones and Dmo.
I don't think he'll be chucking up 3's like crazy. Harden already takes care of that. What Smith can do is (hopefully) defend the 4's in the West that we've always had problems with. We now have somebody to guard Griffin or bother LMA with athleticism. Thinking about it it's really a low risk signing. If TJones can get healthy this year this is the deepest Rox squad we've had in a long time. They have stepped up their D considerably from last year and I don't see it not improving further with the addition of Smith.

Smoove! I mean it's a low risk move and he's playing for a contract with his buddy. He's not the player he used to be but he's a step up from our current back up PFs. Let's the offense run through D Mo against second units too.
