Klay not getting enough credit for his big shots either.
Frank, after over a month of learning the triangle and now with Calderon and Melo back, the Knicks' offense still sucks and the Knicks are the 2nd worst team in the NBA (not counting the injured Wolves). I thought you said that the triangle would bring them to the playoffs.

No, the Knicks are going to land a surefire all-star in a terrible draft and every star free agent is going to want to sign to play under Derek Fisher on a .200 team because Phil Jackson sometimes flies in from California.
When we played the Knicks, their offense mostly reminded me of Kurt Rambis trying to run the triangle through like Darko and Michael Beasley, that level of effectiveness.

Scotty Brooks accidentally instilling Pop-like confidence into his scrubs with Durant and YNB injured
Game just got away from us in the second quarter and we couldn't keep up. We fouled way too much and broke up the flow of the game. It was still competitive down the stretch but we were too sloppy.
Luckily we play Philly next. :D
By ForeverReilo I told you MSG is full of shit.
May the Knicks never pick in the Top 5 for the next hundred years.
"An unruly fan was ejected after MSG security received multiple complaints from fans sitting in that area," the Knicks said via a team spokesperson. "The fan was warned multiple times before being removed. He will not be permitted back into Madison Square Garden."something something pissing off fans around you something.
One fan, who wished not to be identified, said the ousted Nets fan "was being obnoxious and yelling."
"People were complaining," the fan said. "The security surrounded him and carried him out without his leg. I've never seen anything like that."

I thought you said that the triangle would bring them to the playoffs.Actually I gave alot of bullet points/conditions I'll be happy to go over when I get home, but you won't find a post I made saying they'll learn the system this early because it doesn't exist. And rodeo I'd expect it to this early and Shane Larkin (2nd year guard) running the point.

But Phil Jackson's coaching record is impeccable. How could a coach of such a caliber not coach this squad into contention?
This is what happens when you make assumption about Fisher's coaching ability based on Jackson's…

Weren't you Brian Shaw bashing like 2 weeks ago? Now they've gone 8-3 in their last 11.
Clifford is about them advanced stats, his team is underachieving.
Snyder? Same deal. Guy in Boston? Same deal. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure you've talked a whole hell of a lot of mess about Dwane Casey in the past.
The point of this being, judging an offense that's won 11 chips after 1 month of ineptitude kind of makes you look like a clown. Especially when Kerr runs Triangle sets in GS and we don't hear a peep from someone like you.
I still contend that Brian Shaw is not a good coach. He's been forced due to injuries into not playing some of his more garbage players (Foye, McGee), but he was still playing like 12 guys a night before this. Which says to me he doesn't actually know who his best eight players are.
He seriously plays Hickson over Faried.

I thought tonight would be a good time for our first win...but MCW is now our only ballhandler and Noel might be out again.

By etiolationThe TWolves had a run where they took Johnny Flynn over Curry.
Wesley Johnson over Cousins.
And Derrick Williams over… well that draft sucked outside of Kawhi and Klay.
So DWill is just a minor offense in a long history of criminal draft choices.
the Wes Johnson pick makes me feel better about taking Turner..because apparently Wes was one of Doug's preferred choice (Favors too which would have been sweet lol)
Clifford hasn't had his team prepared to play on a summer league level at least 6 times this season.
But fuck the Knicks.
And Kurt Rambis ran plenty of triangle and that worked great. The Knicks suck and it has nothing to do with the triangle, your mom's cooking, or 2001-3. ffs lol

The Flynn pick is the real killer. There were lots of, at the very least, functional NBA players taken after him, and last I read, Flynn had washed out of the Australian league. So he's doing great.
But even still, I guess I don't care that much. We missed on a lot of guys throughout history. Christian Laettner, Isiah Rider, Donyell Marshall, Roy for Foye. What's one more to the list.

DeMarcus Cousins Medical Update
SACRAMENTO, CA —- Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins underwent additional evaluation on Tuesday evening as he continues to recover from a viral infection.
Team physicians, led by Dr. Jason Brayley of Kaiser Permanente, admitted DeMarcus to the hospital for treatment and rest. His condition is improving daily and a full recovery is anticipated.
Cousins will not be in uniform this weekend, with a return to competition expected by next week.

My guess is a severe reaction to playing winning basketball.
By next week the Kings should be back below .500.
Well I guess I should have read it more closely before. It's not a virus but a viral infection. I imagine they hospitalized him to flush out the infection.
Hopefully they can beat SOMEBODY without him. They're like 0-15 without him in the lineup and 0-19 when he plays 20 mins or less. Other teams at least manage without their stars. The Kings are just absolutely dependent upon him.

I heard it takes months for a team to fully grasp and execute the triangle. The Knicks just don't have the bigs that can operate in the post or any guards sans Calderon that can shoot from the perimeter consistently. Starting Sam Dalembert and fucking Quincy Acy. Then you have Amare who doesn't pass or look for cutters in the post. I'm done with Shumpert and his shitty flap top.

Outside of Rudy, the rest of their lineup really relies on DMC to set them up though.
And you really don't want Iso Rudy back.

So the West is 67-27 against the East so far this year. Seriously, they need to do something about this conference disparity. Either the team that comes out of the East will be total garbage compared to the West and make the Finals really one-sided or it will have a much easier path to the Finals than whoever makes it out of the West. Either way, it's pretty stupid.

At one point over the summer, Carmelo Anthony says he decided to sign with the Chicago Bulls.
"It was one part of time where I was just like, 'Yo, I'm going,'" Anthony said in a documentary detailing his free agency that aired Tuesday night on MSG Network.
Anthony ultimately decided to re-sign with the New York Knicks, inking a five-year, $124 million contract. The Bulls could have offered Anthony a contract worth approximately $74 million, unless they executed a sign-and-trade.
"It came down to Chicago and New York. Chicago was the one that, from day one, was something that I was very impressed with. They was looking for a person like me to come in and just take them to the next level," Anthony said. "So it was perfect. It was a perfect setup, perfect fit for me in Chicago. But then also I had to think about just living in Chicago. Do I want to live in Chicago? Do I want to take everything that I created in New York and move all of that? It came down to that."

More like he stayed because he wanted to make more money and reinvest it with his new connections. He loves the highlife lifestyle, a lifestyle you can't really have in Chicago. I find it a little odd and cold. He clearly wants to win, but his focus has shifted dramatically.
He wants to be basketball's Jay-Z or Dre.
