By viakadoso these toronto playbyplay guys are a bunch of homers.I been saying this. It's why their fans think every call against them is a conspiracy.
i aint mad, we all know dolan's gonna do something stupid and trade away your rookie within the first month of next season.
search your hearts, you know its true...because you know, the knicks are the knicks, forever.

It's up to Phil, Dolan said it himself.
By livefromkyotoso marc gasol to da knicks confirmedBy dukisup brehs whats been happening in the nbaaaa
Phil Jackson has successfully brought big time basketball back to the big apple. Kobe has become a valuable team player under the steady stewardship of coach Scott. Turns out the Warriors do miss Mark Jackson after all, and he's currently the hottest coach out there, weighing multiple offers. Winning the Stan Van Gundy sweepstakes has brought a winning culture back to Detroit, and things are looking bright there. Westbrook and Durant were both injured, but their solid supporting cast kept right on trucking' without them. Also, things aren't working out in Memphis and Marc Gasol can't wait to get out of there and sign with a big market franchise, if you know what I mean.

Mike Malone helped teach Boogie how to not be terrible at defense (he might actually be pretty good at this point though it can be hard to judge), so I can't hate him.
But now Tyrone Corbin is back, get out the way motherfuckers, you can't stop this train.

So wait you start off much better than expected, lose your best player to illness and then you fire him? Odd.
By ColonelWell with the way OKC is playing the west is pretty much set.Yeah Suns/Pelicans had a chance but couldn't get any separation from the pack at this point the top seven is set and OKC will easily overtake the Suns and Pelicans.
Fuck that shit.
Kings about to enter the lottery chase.
I seriously do not understand this move at all. I immediately do not trust the management due to this move. The Kings obvious problem was that they had a poor bench, no reliable third guard to run the bench, and had a MVP-type guy get a bizarre infection.
That falls on the GM for striking out on Sessions and not acquiring shooters anywhere but via the draft.

"I figured if I hired Corbin as my top assistant, no way they'd fire me."
netw3rk goes fucking hard, goddamn.

Another longterm candidate to monitor for Kings coaching job, league sources tell Yahoo: Vinny Del Negro.
Wouldn't be surprised if Malone is snatched up as an assistant coach before the season ends. I know Doc Rivers wanted him when the Kings hired him as head coach. Monty Williams might pick him up and lose his job to Malone.
Wouldn't be surprised if he has a new head coaching gig before the Kings get into the playoffs.
It's not that I love Malone and think he's great. He's good and young, and has flaws that can be worked out. However, he did immediately get Cousins into a position to succeed and turned him into a good defensive player. He managed to make Rudy Gay efficient. He got a terrible defensive team to drastically improve on defense. He did what was expected of him, except win without Cousins. (He lost last year, but that team started out with poor talent and then got remade mid-season.)
Malone was around .500 last year with IT, Gay and Cousins healthy. The Kings were 10-4 with their starters healthy this year. This is a team with no playoff expectations by anyone except management. He was fired because he couldn't win during injuries and because his style was not PDA's style.
Unfortunately, PDA's uptempo style does not fit Cousins. And fans don't want a shallow, high scoring team that is no serious threat either.

By masudCan George Carl get a job? Wtf…I hope not til the Pelicans can hire him after we get rid of Monty this offseason.
Another possible long-term candidate for the Kings: ex-Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro. Del Negro led the Bulls and Clippers to the playoffs, and has experience in coaching young stars Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin that could be beneficial in continuing the development of Cousins.
Malone had disagreed with ownership's pursuit of a Josh Smith trade in July, and made his position known to Ranadive, league sources said. Ranadive joined D'Alessandro in talks with the Detroit Pistons, but no agreement was ever reached.
The more I think about it, we need to be trading Al and not Lance.
Hell, Lance is a better player than Kemba most of the time too. I'd rather invest in his crazy ass than either of our 'core' players.

And lots of young athletic wings?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Though the malone firing is just bizzare. He installed systems, and discipline into a franchise that was looking awfully bare.
Mac 10 is another goody. Though one fears he'll install iso rudy offense.
Karl's style doesn't fit Cousins. Boogie is not an uptempo guy. You're kind of wasting a talent that nobody can guard if you don't use him in a half court style.
The team also doesn't have enough shooting to run-n-gun.
