By DarkSo IWMTB/Diehard if you got the first overall would you take Okafor?
No, we're already 29th in defense and Quin doesn't seem to like heavy low-post offense. It would be Towns. Towns could be developed into Memo on offense and a great defensive anchor on defense.
Dude, stop the "I'm smarter than every basketball mind" attitude. It's retarded. You're not smarter than Phil, you're not smarter than most coaches and GM's, you're not smarter than MVP voting for the last 40 years. Your ability to read a spreadsheet is duly noted. Now sit down.
You said I didn't watch basketball games and only care about stats because I implied that I thought AD didn't need to play more like Kobe or Al Jefferson. Then I listed a bunch of things that AD might not do well on the court right now. Then you... posted an argument that it doesn't matter how basketball players actually play on the court because win/loss stats? And then you... Did an appeal to authority fallacy? I don't even know if I'm even claiming to be smarter than anyone right here other than Kobe/Melo stans because every site I've seen has AD in the top 3 of MVP voting so the appeal to authority would actually be on my side if I wanted to go to that fallacy...
Is being an honorary Knicks fan during their worst season ever really that draining?

He's 100% right.
According to the NBA’s player-tracking data, Ellis ranks second in the league in drives with 227 this season. He’s tied for 24th in free throws attempted with 98.
By extreme contrast, Houston’s James Harden has attempted a league-leading 192 free throws – nearly twice as many as Ellis – and driven to the basket 55 fewer times.
He's 100% right.
By DominicanPowerTowns is going to be a Knick.Just wait for the win now trades they are coming you'll see.
By dy_nastyCavs finally openly trying to move Waiters now?
I'm desperate. I don't even need to be taken out to dinner first.
I look at that Hornets roster and I think to myself "these guys are just a .367/.242 shooter away from turning this thing around."
By dy_nastyCavs finally openly trying to move Waiters now?The no fucks backcourt of Lance and Dion would be truly a sight to behold.

Its a deal, Biyombo for Waiters. Lebron approved.
By VlatkoThat would be highway robbery. But since the Hornets seemingly have no idea what they're doing, I wouldn't be shocked.By dy_nastyCavs finally openly trying to move Waiters now?The no fucks backcourt of Lance and Dion would be truly a sight to behold.

First-round of real plus or minus stats out today:
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/RPM
Real plus or minus in small samples suffers badly from multicollinearity (so early stats are often not the best) and randomness, but it is probably stat for several years. Top 11 is
Steph
Klay
Boogie
AD
Timmy
Harden
Chandler
CP3
Lillard
Lowry
Bogut
Which isn't that surprising or out there, but it gets more accurate as the year goes on.

The bad luck is being the Knicks. That's never going to change.

How does The Brow have such a high DRPM with the Pelicans being terrible at D while playing with Asik?
Harden must have turned into Ron Artest to have reached +2 with such an awful prior.
Cavs commentary is saying that replays are taking roughly half the time they used to because of the replay center.
It sure wasn't like that at the beginning of the season, but then again I haven't really noticed any long replays lately.

The Pels are 6 points better defensively with AD in the game and are pretty decent defensively with him in the game. Plus, I think DRPM still has variables for height, blocks, and steals in there which massively help him out. It's probably too high though.
Trey and Enes are second to last in DRPM for their positions :(
By giririsssAw. But I wouldn't want to be depending upon his health, that's true.By rodeoclownAndrew Bogut is hurt, apparently.Isn't that his default status?
Announcers said he has "knee irritation," whatever that means.
By AdamLowercase Rodeo weirds me out. That's just how it transferred to the new site. I could've changed it, but it's whatever.
Dion having his best game of the season. Still taking some bad shots, but doing a good job of getting shots from the offense.
By VlatkoHow did KG not get a technical? lolWell if Lebron body slamming people left and right is not a foul...
