His personal stats were never that dependent on Ricky. He put up stats when he was running with like Beasley and Jonny Flynn. He continued to put up numbers after Rubio went down with the ACL a couple years ago.
Team success always depended on Ricky, though. His rookie year, they went 21-19 with Rubio and 5-something horrific the rest of the way without him.

He put in the work this offseason, got in shape, worked with a shooting coach all summer. And then, luckily, didn't have to deal with a checked out Adelman anymore.
