I'm just pleased that Plumlee proved he can hang with the best. He did great against Drummond but he stumbled against Hibbert.
Yeah Smoove can't start. Teams with a clue will just camp the paint. Any iso shots by Dwight or Smoove are a win for the defense. Even jumpers for their perimeter shooters is a win statistically because none of them are great shooters on the year so far.
If the Rocks had a decent backup scorer I'd be tempted to start Ariza at the 4 or something. The defense and speed of Bev/Ariza/Brewer are good enough to double on any mismatches inside while also rotating to the three point line.
The bench would be a complete void if you did that though. Maybe Smoove would have better luck against second units, but I doubt it.
