Both compared to his price and everyone's expectations & in general. He started showing signs of recovery towards the end of the season, but nothing to write home about. I'd say most of the blame goes to Mancini's nonexistent tactics and his absolutely tragic midfield. Imagine playing out of position / role and having Felipe Melo and Gary Medel as your compagni. It'd make any player look bad.
I'm surprised by how weak that France squad looks on paper. The first XI is really good, sans RB, but they've got some right shit in reserve. The likes of Mangala and Mathieu should be nowhere near the squad. Cabaye fell way off from his great start to the season, whilst Sissoko can't even look good at Newcastle. Diarra?? And Gignac from the mexican league, is he really still up to it?

Seems the French team has been hit hard by a rash of injuries and some 'unfortunate' absences like Benz and Sakho.
Midfielders: Lassana Diarra, Blaise Matuidi, Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante, Moussa Sissoko, Yoann Cabaye.
Matuidi, Pogba and Kante midfield is pretty sexy. Going to cause problems for anyone.
And then you have Griezmann, Martial and Payet in front of them. There so much pace and quality there.
The back four is obviously their weak spot, but if Kante is given free reign to do what he's been doing for Leicester I'm sure they'll figure it out. Shame Laporte got injured though.
