Man United have played 38 Premier League away games now under Van Gaal. Failed to win 25 of them and combined minus goal difference of -5.
Glory glory.
By Fergie Go To PostWonder how some of the players will improve under Mou. Many are underperforming badly.I think the only reason he hasn't been sacked for next season is because your management don't want to pay his salary after firing him and having to pay the salary of another coach.
Really feel he's gone now. That was a crucial game and it was in the clubs hands to get top 4 sorted.
The American way is to keep him for the rest of his contract and then signing Mou innit
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostI don't understand the Benatia link. What makes it even more odd is the fact that we're supposedly switching to 4-3-1-2 next season. Fo' realz dis time, yo. So only two CBs in the XI.
I am guessing the pecking order would change to Bon, Ben, and Rugani. With the other two filling in. Maybe Chiellini will be used in the CL instead of Rugani.
Unless Marry sees it as an opportunity that shouldn't be missed this summer, given our good relationship with Bayern, and considers it future-proofing. With Benatia, Bonucci and Rugani (and someone to replace Chiellini / Barzagli) we'd be set for 2016-2019 at least.

By Zabojnik Go To PostI hope we get Benatia from Bayern. Apart from this season he's never had injury problems. He'd shine in our defensive setup, methinks.you know who else was injury free
Not sure how that would work out in regards to player count tho. We're keeping Barza for one more season at least and I don't think we'll be looking to offload Chiellini just yet. Rugani played as much as he did thanks to Chiello being injured for 3-4 months. With Giorgio in the squad and with the addition of Benatia, he'd be warming that bench all season long. Unless Allegri intends to change the pecking order, which I doubt.
Signing Benatia doesn't seem to make much sense, but everyone keeps saying we're very much interested, so idk.

More likely Woodward saving face with 2 failures under his watch in 3 years. After hyping up both when they signed.
By Spengo Go To PostMessi will score the League winning goal.Serie A goes through these phases where one teams dominates for 4 or 5 years. Incredible.
Wonder who' further ahead, Toral or Iwobi. Toral was made in the Barca sweatshop so he's bound to come good using Cesc and Bellerin as barometers. Wouldn't mind him being the Rosciky replacement. I want a CB and ST now and if Theo goes a winger.

Nah.
We have to pay him £5 million to sack him (possibly less if he misses CL qualification). That is pocket change for us.
We are waiting until CL qualification becomes impossible and until after the Cup final. Then he'll go.
By Fergie Go To PostPool being linked with Dembele now. [Guardian]
Fulham's Dembele? He's someone who we've been reported as scouting as far back as 13-14 from what I can remember. I just assumed it wouldn't happen given that bigger teams than us were also interested, and as of 6 months ago it seemed like a foregone conclusion he'd be going to Spurs.
Edit: Oh, there is a third Dembele now.

A change of tack from Wenger? After having earlier offer rebuffed, he's come back to pay full whack for Xhaka. (€50m, including add-ons)
Still can't believe we're paying the full money here. Shanks your list might be wrong.

Players who Mou will want to keep:
De Gea, Fosu, Darmian, Smalling, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Martial, Memphis, Rashford, Rooney
After that, it's anyone's guess. Probably Fellaini too. He likes cunts.

fwiw, that guardian article on dembele hasn't been written by their Liverpool reporter, Hunter, so we haven't briefed them on this, if that means anything
Mourinho would keep Schweinsteiger. He wouldn't be going anywhere.
But since Giggs is taking over he'll sell everyone bar Carrick, Jones and Rooney.
Scholes to come out of retirement once more.

Fellaini isn't that cunt.
Huh, so if we finish in the EL spots AND win the EL, which isn't a very likely outcome, the PL will lose one EL spot apparently. Not sure exactly how that works.
Interesting.

You want Benteke.
I hope United buy Donnarumma if (read: when) De Gea goes in the summer.
Oblak would be the dream but there is no chance of him leaving Atlético or them selling for that matter.
But we will end up getting Navas and I suppose that isn't a bad thing, really.
