the raps wouldn't have had a chance if half our team wasnt broke but it's okay, ill let you be happy that you got to the ECF and only lost one game by 40 points
By Omzz Go To PostJust how raps had no chance in the heat seriesNo one expected whiteside to get hurt.

Nice exaggeration lol. Bosh been gone so I'll give you that. Both starting centres were out. But keep believing only your team had injuries.
Series is still 3-2, apparently we would be lucky to win a game, but here we are so I'm good
Raps had a viable backup center as a replacement. Heat...literally had nothing but the corpse of Amare. Series was written in stone at that point.
Argh... So nervous for tomorrow night.
Still think KD is staying regardless of the result but it would be crushing to lose this series.
Our play last night encourages me though. The game was there for the taking and a lot of breaks went GS's way.

if yall dont win this year you'll never win to be honest
literally every roleplayer worth a damn playing above their heads and EVERYONE healthy and billy in a coaching zen mode
but with that said I don't see you losing

i think it's fair to say that half the team is broken when 2 starters are out for the series.
you should know, the raps have been playing while missing 2 starters all playoffs

By KingGondo Go To PostArgh… So nervous for tomorrow night.OKC is reminding me of that Mavs team that beat the heatles in their first year. Every player on that team was playing so damn well that i couldn't hate when they beat us. Dirk was godlike that year.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postif yall dont win this year you'll never win to be honestThere's room to improve if we can turn Kanter into wing help and if our young players continue to grow, especially Adams and Roberson. KD and Russ are in the early part of their primes too.

Dion went scoreless last night but I thought he actually played a decent game. Played within himself and set other guys up fairly well.
But yeah, if we squandered a 3-1 lead with a win at GS and two blowouts at home... That would really hurt.

Raps were trash and had a fraud run but they've bought back some respect by stealing two from Cleveland imo

If Lebron gets a ring for Cleveland and then peaces out do they still crucify him like the first time?
By Fenderputty Go To PostIf Lebron gets a ring for Cleveland and then peaces out do they still crucify him like the first time?of course they do. cleveland isn't going to stop being full of bitter people just because they got a ring. Remember, they live in cleveland.

By Freedom = $1.05 Go To Postshush psy we need him to get a ring so he comes back. stop ithe aint coming back, accept it. Why would he return especially if he wins one when he can get a chance to repeat and retire in his home.

he's like a bridge troll for the ECF.
you gotta pass through him.

Didn't help that KD and Russ were making awful decisions all night.

As a non-OKC fan it was worth it because at least we got "do you think Curry is an underrated defender?"

it looks weird but that's because he's the only person in the history of basketball to actually make basketball plays.

Then again I'd probably find it less fun to revisit since I no longer drink.

By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostKind of jealous of the height and extension of his kick tbh. He's athletic enough to get his leg that high but not athletic enough to control it, apparently.
Honestly ridiculous, and I'm surprised he hasn't hurt more people or been fined for it before.

You lost Bosh, but it forced your coach and franchise to stop playing counter productive basketball and run their best line up with out excuses.
It made Deng a viable basketball player.
Wade actually became a 3pt threat, shooting it at OVER .500
McRoberts was a net overall POSITIVE.
You had 2 rookies contribute genuinely meaningful minutes every game.
There were a lot of things that broke in the heats favour this year too. Particularly IN series. But usually you only get one of the above per season. The Heat got all of them. The rookie one is particularly abnormal.
I'd take those and run with it rather than trying to run around and the cut the grass of the team that beat you.
By giririsss Go To PostHere, let me help.yeah but then it takes the fun out of talking crap about the raps. where's the fun in that?

By Freedom = $1.05 Go To Postyeah but then it takes the fun out of talking crap about the raps. where's the fun in that? The worry for me would be how much of that forced lineup that the Heat ran early in the year was ego driven. Players refusing to not be starters. And if it was, do you gamble on Bosh's health or Whitesides sanity.
By giririsss Go To PostThe worry for me would be how much of that forced lineup that the Heat ran early in the year was ego driven. Players refusing to not be starters. And if it was, do you gamble on Bosh's health or Whitesides sanity.this is a bit OT for this thread but i think that Bosh, having seen how different the team ran in his absence, would be more willing to let the offense roll like it was in the last half of the season than how it was during the first half.
the whiteside thing, who knows. Riley wants to keep him but also can't help himself and wants to flirt with some big players in the offseason too. I guess we'll know what's up soon enough.
I have no idea what our team will look like come next season lol
By vic Go To PostI still can't believe that Draymond is getting away with this shit. Good lord.If Kobe could his whole career, so can Dray in 2016.
Kicking your leg out to draw contact on a jump shot is different than what Dray is doing.
Both are stupid and potentially dangerous though.
Both are stupid and potentially dangerous though.
By KingGondo Go To PostKicking your leg out to draw contact on a jump shot is different than what Dray is doing.I'm talking about the "unnatural shooting follow through". I remember the outcry after he slapped the shit outta a few people, even the 1-game suspension only happened after it happened a few times already. He stopped... for like 3 weeks and had the same follow through, No said said boo.
Both are stupid and potentially dangerous though.
Basically what I'm saying is Dray actually making contact and kicking people hasn't happened enough times for the NBA to actually suspend him, and it something he's always done. The mere fact that no one talked about it back in the day is proof of that; unless something negative happens, it's not a problem to the NBA.
Here, I'll delve deeper. Kobe Bryant had a habit of swinging his elbows down after a shot, and in 2007 he absolutely destroyed Manu Ginobili after a shot:
Full convo about it on Nate Jones' Twitter
You can be suspended for a unnatural basketball motion that is inadvertent; certainly Kobe isn't trying to elbow fools there. However it took 3-4 instances of this happening before the league finally punished Kobe Bryant.
