You would've thought Curry was the most hated played in the NBA the way the internet turned on him last night.
I read a post on reddit awhile ago that mentioned how Donovan was just trying random lineups and playing scrubs like Singler/Payne big minutes, yet in the playoffs these guys barely even play in garbage time. Seems like he used the season as a test to figure out what works and what doesn't and it seems to be paying off and he's been good at playing the best lineup possible.
OKC was down 1-2 and LMA was shooting like 70%, Kanter goes on to play 28/30/21 minutes in the next 3 games, the last game being a blowout but he got significant minutes because he had an impact. This series he's been 18/15/18/8.
Brooks would have kept giving Ibaka 35mpg against the Spurs even though it clearly wasn't working.

By reilo Go To PostHi, I'm Lebron James, I am a 4-time MVP:Lebron was never unanimous ;).
yeah but steph got that unanimous vote. if he doesn't get a ring after breaking 72 and that unanimous vote then of course people are going to laugh.
Literally means nothing. Just because a homer (before the votes were public) didn't give Lebron that single vote he needed, that doesn't mean he wasn't the MVP that season.
I don't get why Steph should get a free pass.
Any other player in the world who helps win 73 games in the regular season, goes on to win unanimous MVP (first in NBA history) and then shits the bed when it matters most in the Playoffs is gonna hear it.

Maybe Curry's injury is actually more of a thing. He kicked ass in the Portland series but now it's finally settling in and fuckin' up his groove.

If he just continued on the supernova path without the (two week?) break in between, who knows what we would be talking about now.
curry doesn't look right but the rest of that team has to step it up. Draymond has been pure garbo almost all series except for his ability to kick a pirate in the dick.

The Josh Smith-Corey Brewer game was one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Josh running point-forward while playing lockdown defense and hitting three after three, dear god, what a way for a season to end.

The Thunder have blossomed from startup to blue chip. They don’t work out for three hours a day anymore; wearable technology tells them they can accomplish as much in half the time. They don’t run in a subdivision; the team built a hill outside its facility. They don’t play video games all night; Westbrook married his college sweetheart, Nina Earl, over the summer. They have been hardened by trades, injuries, disappointments and a hundred goofy story lines. “Every talk show,” Collison laughs, “about Russell and his attitude.”
Maybe Draymond Green needs to stop playing Call of Duty.
I don't know what shocks me more the fact that Nick Collison is 35 or the fact that he's still on the Thunder
By vire Go To PostWarriors fans haven't been this disappointed since they were Laker fans 3 years agoGet it right. They were Heat fans 3 years ago, they were Laker fans before that.
naw man, laker fans never shook off until the clippers got good. then they became clippers fans.
they never became heat fans, we took on plenty of bandwagoners but lakers fans werent among them

You clearly don't get LA sports dynamics.
I'm telling y'all, if there's a team that can blow a 3 game lead sans The Clippers, it's The Thunder. This is the same team that blew more than 12 4th quarter leads.

Until all of the LA transplants band-waggoned onto the Clippies there wasn't a hate. They've still not been out of the second round for Christs sake. The annoying band wagon fans claiming "kings of LA sports" after a couple semi successful seasons definitely made me slide on the scale a little bit past indifferent though.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostDurant and Russ Iso means no more turnovers, which hurts the warrior's transition game badly. I still think they should just guard them straight up. It's worked all year, can't stray from that now.I think most of their turnovers have been in iso, though, so that's fine.
I mean, I'm arguing the same thing you are. Guard them straight up.

i think a lot of whats coming gsw way is because, despite what the media would have you think, these mf are cocky AS HELL. When steph eats you the way he does...crip walking on you, running the other way while the ball is in the air... and then they bark, or i should say, draymond barks the way he barks, when you start bleeding the hyenas will come.

Sports need more Michael Jordans and less Peyton Mannings. You don't get that good without believing you're the best in the world at what you do, pretending otherwise is just to star in Papa Johns or Nationwide commercials.
The problem is clowns like Draymond with their excuses after every loss (the infamous we're bored of the regular season and just want it to be over) or him "accidentally" hitting a guy in the nuts in back to back games. Talking all that shit when Steph is making half court shots with ease, but this dude could barely get out a word when reporters were interviewing him yesterday he was so shook.
Frontrunner shit talkers are the worst. It's like when you play a video game and it's always the clown at the bottom of the scoreboard talking the most shit even though he did nothing. That's Draymond Green

Draymond inherited the Harden factor. I need to know how much alcohol he be drinking to be this shook and fucked up during this series.
