Kind of crazy how Miami giving Zo that 110m contract lead to Shaq leaving Orlando for L.A and eventually landing in Miami.
but really, the magic fucked that up real bad lowballing shaq like that.

Welp, I was horrendously wrong about this series.

I don't think anyone really did. Gondo was shook before playoffs until now he's acting like he knew.
By P S Y C H Go To Postgondo picked thunder in 6
Prior to the playoffs he was shitting his pants saying that taking a couple games is a moral victory. Come his team showing up he changed sides pretty quickly.
Even prior to the season when he said the whole 60 wins baseline shit.

By blackace Go To Postis it fair to say the Thunder has two of the top 5 players in the NBA on their team?If you're referring to YNB... He's not even been the one causing trouble. It's OKC being able to have 3 bigs on the floor dominate any small ball lineup GSW try to run. And GSW's "big" lineup not being good with bogut playing hurt.
Helps that Curry is missing open layups.

By blackace Go To Posttalking about if you were to name the 5 best players in the NBA would Russ and KD be on the list?KD is on mine. Russ........... he still fucks up on D too much, and does way too many stupid things on O.
It's like making the case for Klay being a top 5 player. You could.... but there are a lot of things that can mitigate them too.
I assume KD/LBJ/Curry, in what ever order, would be on everyones, probably Paul George too. After that.... Russ, Blake, Buttler, Green, Anthony Davis, Dame put his hand up...
By livefromkyoto Go To PostKobe ain't got no statue.Look at that thirst.
It's amazing what the west will look like for three next 5 years.
And if the warriors quickly fade in and out as a 'dynasty'.
Brian Windhorst @WindhorstESPN 2 minil y a 2 minutesNo way...
It seems Draymond Green's trip of Enes Kanter last night might literally be a textbook case of a flagrant 1 foul. https://t.co/E4ySzpYwIN

We look great though.
in 2012, you had Harden and you had a bunch of young players playing in miami, a city that will eat young players alive.
If your boys play in Cleveland or Canada (lol) they got this.

Please suspend him. Here's got to stop this bullshit. You can't keep giving him a pass. One game after kicking a guy in the nuts, he can't stay away from the bullshit
kerr gets the benefit because ring + record season. Though i agree, he's getting majorly exposed in this series. He's made Donovan look like he knows what he's doing.
So if warriors lose, will people give charles credit for saying this...

Altho, if there is any team that can come back from a 3-1 deficit, it would be golden state

By blackace Go To PostIt does show that Brooks is horrible
Bingo. Before these playoffs I thought the switch was a lateral move. Now? Brooks looks like a different version of Mark Jackson.
More than anything though they're looking like the past 3 years of injuries is what allowed Spurs and GS to really succeed. This team looks unstoppable on offense.
blame brooks even though he hasn't had a healthy team in like 4 years and as if all of their core players didn't develop under his watch
By Freedom = $1.05 Go To PostGSW aint winning 3 straight games against the thunder. it aint happening.
Yeah. I don't think OKC will collapse like the Clippers did or my Lakers.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postblame brooks even though he hasn't had a healthy team in like 4 years and as if all of their core players didn't develop under his watchI think there's a legit possibility Nazr would have gotten playoff minutes under Brooks.

if MVP Steph were to return it really wouldn't be out of the question
People are just looking at his scoring but when he's himself everyone else feeds off that and spacing is completely different

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postif MVP Steph were to return it really wouldn't be out of the questionThere's a good reason why GS have been desperately trying to score in the paint these last two games. OKC's perimeter defense at home has been on point.

By unknown Go To PostAll messing around aside I can see it happening but okc is looking on a new level at the right time.My trust on GS' ability to jump into another gear has been shattered so yeah, I think they're done.
the home cooking is going to be fierce so its really just a question of if curry can be special for the game back in OKC because a game 7 would favor GS at that point
had gs in 7 btw
had gs in 7 btw
Curry insists he's not injured. But if that's true, then it's even a worse sign for the future.
Forget the playoffs, they're done this year.
Since that Portland game back from the injury, Curry hasn't looked like the guy who won unanimous MVP. He is not attacking like he was in the regular season.
What if his 2-3 year run is over? What if, despite not suffering a serious injury, he's peaked and will never regain that mvp form, kind of like what happened to Derrick Rose? Thing is, Curry was able to score at an insane clip for a couple of years without elite athleticism. He's suppose to be in his athletic prime now but he may not be able to produce like he has.
And we may have seen the limits of the small lineup. Of course teams were going to adjust sooner or later. But Iggy and Livingston aren't young any more. We've seen the best out of them already.
We may have to settle for that first ring in 40 years. Now though, we can put to rest all the talk about historically great.
GS's small lineup will still dominate most teams in the league. They just ran into a team that matches up amazingly against it.
Ibaka finding the foutain of youth, KD locking fools down and Green getting hit with all of the karma at once is some hax shit.
glad for you Gondo.
glad for you Gondo.
Sam Amick @sam_amickAs if there was any doubt.
Draymond Green can focus on Game 5 without fear of suspension, as I'm told the league won't upgrade that trip of Enes Kanter to a Flagrant 1
I wonder if Westbrook is the closest human to having the body of a superhero.
This is really one of the most surprising and dominant playoff runs I can remember. The Spurs and Warriors ran through teams...
