Lowkey, we are going to get an onslaught next few years of players taking the most IGNORANT shots you could possibly take in basketball.
Only caught the first half, but good series. Proud of what my team accomplished and they gave it their best against an all-time great team.
By Method Go To PostMcCollum and Lillard is a legit as fuck backcourt.
nah they're absolute basura on d
theyll eventually move mccullom
By Red Blaster Go To Posttheyll eventually move mccullomYep. It's be different if Portland had long defenders at the 3, 4, and 5.
By Omzz Go To PostDidn't realise draft lottery is 5 days away
hoping for meltdowns
Watched the Magic Penny/Shaq doc. Orlando had some real fuckery with the draft.
By blackace Go To Postthe storm is coming…Or Nash? FOH with Ray. Nash > Ray
also Curry without a doubt is the greatest shooter ever to play… No disrespect to Ray or Larry
By giririsss Go To PostOr Nash? FOH with Ray. Nash > RayIt's fairly close but Ray shot 6000 times more than Nash and sits at 45% while Nash sits at 49%
I think Ray is the better pure shooter while Nash a great great shooter who passed first and picked his spots insanely well... if that makes sense.
But he should be on any list of great shooters and I shouldnt have missed him

It's just funny though how many times a lot of people never think to put Nash on that list... but really, his only peer at the time was probably Ray, maybe Dirk.
i dunno if i want to even watch friday's game. I'm resigned to this broken ass heat team finally going fishing. Might be better off just playing uncharted 4 instead
Just saw the GS highlights... It's crazy when an off-the-dribble 3 from 7 feet behind the arc is a good shot.
Seems literally impossible to defend especially since he's so good at driving and finishing now too.

Spurs are favored by two points tonight.
my tingle is on OKC for some reason, so i'll fade myself and take the spurs -2

We've played substantially better than SA since game 1. Have no idea what to expect tonight though.
I do know that our arena in a closeout game with locked in Russ and KD is damn tough to beat. If we get a contribution from anyone else we could roll.
We've also benefited greatly from the fact that Kanter is playable in major minutes against the old/slow frontline of the Spurs. When him and Adams share the floor they get damn near 50% of available offensive boards.

One day Casey will learn to close out a quarter with Cory Joseph out and KLow in.. one day.
Casey needs to stop having them dribble out the clock for 12 fucking seconds during the end of quarters.
CoJo is a busta when it comes to closing out quarters.

I might have a trial on monday for two bullshit misdemeanors i got charged with so life is super not stressful these days. Thank goodness the heat are being crappy so i have something to focus my energy on.

They could work as a tandem with the right wings and a mobile rim protector. cj is gonna be special and I'd hate to see him go, but you're probably right.
Excited to see what olshey can pull off.
Dame/CJ might be an awful defensive backcourt, but the offense they give you is something you can't just throw away
The past two years everyone says you can't outshoot the Warriors, but this team was able to hang with them (could potentially be the only team to beat them twice this season). Could have been a closer series if they had a real center who could score, or at the very least not get blocked. Saw a tweet that Shea Serrano RT'd a couple of games ago that Plumlee is the most blocked 7'. He gets blocked once every 8 attempts or something.
Would also help if they didn't have to start Moe Harkless.

The W's starting front court are both REALLY good passers.
yea that's what I meant. you don't need someone putting up 20, but Plumlee had a lot of scoring opportunities and either didn't take them because he was scared or got blocked. he's gotta make the defense pay when they rotate off of him
Getting rid of Tiago Splitter and Ayon Baynes really hurts the Spurs now w/ Duncan being a corpse. They don't have a legit C to pair with Aldridge to stop OKC when they go Adams/Kanter.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postjust realized curry finished the year on 67% tsBarkley. But yeah, not as impressive as Steph's.

Kyle Korver had a 69% last season.
Chandler had a 70% season but i assume centers don't count.
but yeah Curry's is way more impressive considering the shots he takes.

Portland was awesome in that series. Reilo should be proud what they gave. The contrast between how hard they played versus Houston was striking. Portland gave it their all. Shit, they also played above their heads and made every game fun. Loved the series. Glad I got Portland somewhat right in preseason! They just need a 2 way PF who can also play C. Horford would be a great addition for them, for example.
Warriors winning like how champions often have to in the end. And I don't even know what to say about Curry anymore. He's basically a game genie.
As for tonight, I'm not going to say OKC will win. But I do think how Parker plays will determine whether they pull it off.
Also, should Spurs lose, I believe this is Duncan's last game. I can't imagine he comes back after the shit burgers he's been tossing up. Looks like he stayed 1 year too long.

I'll say this again. Spurs have to go small with LMA at C and Leonard at PF. They need to be more athletic and remove the OKC bigs. If Ibaka is their C, even better. It will give them a better shot at the boards and if Kanter is in, they can SnR him to death.
Will Pop make this adjustment? Dunno.
By Kabro Go To PostKobe had A 46% TS in his last season.Do you mean post-season? Because DD had a TS% of 55% this year in the regular season.
Demar this season? A whopping 39%.
But max contract

By who? It's exactly how they beat the Thunder last time. And Miami.
By Mamba Go To PostBy who? It's exactly how they beat the Thunder last time. And Miami.
Duncan even a couple of years ago was twice the defensive presence that LMA is today. And Westbrook has become a far more dangerous scorer in the same time span.
The strategy has been fine. The main issue is that SA needs to play more Boban while cutting Tims minutes and they need Kawhi to increase his usage--in particular he needs to drive more.
I don't know about tonight's game. I don't trust Westbrook at all. Will Durant show up? is his mom in attendance tonight?
For their sake, they better not mess around and give the Spurs a game 7 over there.

Uh oh hope that's false
Home teams are 9-1 in playoff games, avg margin of 15.5 when Mike Callahan is ref

two set isos for LMA in the post to start---thought for sure they'd start with Kawhi getting it going early
