By vic Go To PostPretty much a resume of the last sequence of last night's game:It even missed a few like Durant and Westbrook (iirc) going out of bounds and coming back in. Or that they may have been pushed by Spurs. Or that parts of Manu's body other than his feet were over the line. There are probably more, too.
Raps barely got past Paul George and the Ridiculous 6 and the refs screwed them out of it. They have no shot at this series

Waiters' offensive foul has apparently never happened before:

RT @NBAOfficial GSW’s A. Varejao assessed Flagrant 1 upon league office review (3:29, 3rd qtr) from game on May 1.
By reilo Go To PostYou're allowed to go out of bounds and come back in as long as you reestablish your position.I thought you could do that during live game action but not during an inbounds scenario? Guess not since googling couldn't find anything to support me.
are the spurs fans mad that they lost or are they mad that they lost in a home game where Dion Waiters played significant minutes?

I'm mad that the Spurs didn't play Spurs-esque.
I've got $20 bet on their series win, dang nab it.

I take solace in the fact that if OKC believes that Waiters is the defensive answer for Kawhi, we'll probably see a lot more Waiters in this series moving forward. This is the best possible outcome.
I wonder how many minutes Duncan will play in the rest of the series/playoffs if the Spurs advance? Between his chronic knee issues and the now tweaked ankle, he's getting zero lift. I'd like to see more Boris Diaw to get another ball-handler out there.

1) Duncan really is role player status at this point and has been for half the season. It was evident when he was benched for long stretches and even the entire game against the Warriors
2) Teams make adjustments, at least competent coaches do anyway. If Kawhi torches Dion in a game, Donovan isn't going to keep pretending that it's somehow a fluke and that Waiters is a long term Kawhi-stopper.

I know you guys gonna hate me for this but
1) LMA is such a beast, validating what he did in the Houston series a couple years back. This dude is made for playoff basketball
2) So much of this stuff is pure Triangle. Sideline triangles being formed on the opposite side, guy above the break while Aldridge works in the low or mid post. Sideline triangle formed, pass to the corner leading to a corner PnR.

3sp is like a conspiracy nut only instead of finding the illuminati pyramid in everything it's "triangles"
What's cute is that I'm right because X's and O's are X's and O's. A play is a play is a play and a format is a format is a format. But since you guys literally have negative clues about any of this stuff you just talk shit. I mean, at least make a real counterpoint.
But God forbid anyone say what's been acknowledged over and over again by everyone, that elements of the triangle offense are all throughout the league without you guys gasping and pretending it's heresy.

Reilo, grow up. If someone makes a basketball point, make a basketball counterpoint. Don't just attack the guy and act like an immature middle school bully.

The illuminati conspiracy theorists are nuts who see things that don't exist. Someone discussing offensive plays and principles you don't like don't amount to the same thing.

But since you guys literally have negative clues about any of this stuffAnd like 33 said, it's not about being right or wrong, so I'll say it simply and succinctly: we're all collectively tired of hearing you talk about the triangle incessantly all the time. That's what we're cluing you in on.
Also "my knowledge and technical grasp of the game far surpasses any of you" is mighty fucking tiring too.

Eh whatever, you don't need to take any mention of Kobe or the Triangle and turn that into some pile-up and attack him with snark and personal attacks fest.
I don't respond to every post on every topic I don't care for. If you don't care for the triangle or Kobe and I mention them, just don't respond.
If you think I'm wrong then make a counterpoint. But when I post and see three or four guys decide that talking shit is totally cool, what's supposed to be my response?

Feel like the Warriors with the rocketships and the Spurs with the Grizzlies pelt was the most creative design of that conquering theme. Thunder striking down the wild horse was interesting too.
