By IWMTB19 Go To PostI highly doubt that Waiters Island is going to keep being a thing.
I always believed in him.
EDIT: To be completely fair. I think this series has got a whiff of Spurs Heat 2014 to it.

I love that no one seems to know what the hell call should of been made on Waiters. All these vets are like, I have never seen this shit before, who the heck knows??

lol.
lol a fan grabbed Steven Adams arm to keep him out of bounds
The final play keeps giving. Manu violation, Waiter Shove, Waiter's shit pass, the steal, Manu pulling a Rondo. the missed three, Adams getting close and personal with Charles Barkley's favorites., and then whatever happened on the rebound.

Hmm
I don't think the Spurs can feel slighted honestly. They got a better opportunity because of the turnover than they would have if a 5 second violation or foul had been called.
What a crazy ass game. We still probably lose the series but our home arena is gonna be a snake pit in games 3 and 4.

Holy shit the final play was bananas. BANANAS!
IMO, there's like 174920 violations going on, so it's a wash. Never seen anything like that whole sequence before.
No reason to re-hash it any more. Just going to say that if Pop wanted a OOB play, he could have called TO but opted to allow the break to run so I don't think the Spurs can complain about the Waiters no-call.
I think OKC played decently well but that the Spurs defense was really sluggish. OKC will have to adjust a bit on LMA cuz he's just eating and if TP and Leonard play just a bit better, they win. But hey, they won in San Antonio, something only the Warriors have pulled off this season, so can't complain too much. Still think SAS is better, of course.
BTW, anyone notice how horrible Duncan is on offense? I think Pop made a huge mistake bringing him back into this game in the 4th. He was useless and really, he looks done. He can still do some things in the interior on D but overall, he is going to be a net negative going forward in the playoffs. I really don't think he's that playable versus the Warriors (not basing this on just tonight, but overall).

Its my fault. I took my gf to the game. Last time i took her to a playoff game was last year. Game 6 against the Clippers. Never again

I'll be surprised if Duncan doesn't retire after this season. Spurs can probably move Aldridge to center.
I know Duncan and Tony are getting old but I need so much more from you guys, I'm not surprised okc winning but just more disappointed with how it happened. Let's go Friday.
What a night and day change from the feeling after game 1 though.
Most of the discussion among Thunder fans was speculation about KD's free agency and lamenting our shit luck to be in the same conference as the Dubs and Spurs.
Now we have everything to play for with two massive games at home.

Can't believe we have to wait till Friday for game 3. Maybe that's enough time for Tim to get over his bum ankle.
On another note, if SAS makes 4 out of the 5-6 layups they missed in the first quarter it's a fairly comfortable win for them. So my opinions on the series haven't really changed.

at the same time lets not act like Aldridge isn't due for an average if not subpar game either
refs literally shook by dions fukkery
Upon review we realize and we agree that we should have had an offensive foul on the play. It's a play that we have never seen before, ever.http://www.nba.com/2016/news/features/fran_blinebury/05/03/spurs-thunder-missed-call-game-1/index.html

Apparently Adams was held by a fan after the block attempt on Patty Mills, but not really enough time was left for it to matter.
Wonder what the hell the refs would have done if there were ten more seconds left and Adams was unable to get to the rim to help rebound. Crazy.

LMA has been consistently been getting better and better through out for the season.
I wanna see the talking heads pick their favorites for this Heat Raps series. Anyone got a link?
i like reading their gasbag analysis and then getting unreasonable upset when they don't chose the heat in 3

I mean, what are the odds that Kawhi shoots 7-18 and Green/Duncan/Parker combine for 5-26 again?
Things even out over the course of the series. I think it's clear that the Spurs are the better team but the Thunder has found a killer lineup. Let's see how the Spurs beat it.

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostThat's fine but he's at his peak right now and isn't likely to sustain this level of play.
Usually means something is up with our offence when we are sub 100 points and individual puts up 30+ points. He shouldn't need to sustain that level of performance in this series.
