My father in law works Macs security as a side job . checks players bags. He told me about Harden arriving in a separate car. Also mentioned his body guards got upset with him for some reason during check in.
I thought he was legit trolling me being a Mavs fan and all smh

you probably need sunglasses to look directly at his white ass.
By reilo Go To PostOn that note, what's the biggest average negative PPG differential in the playoffs? This Warriors/Rockets series gotta be up there, right?Off hand, I'd think Denver/New Orleans from a couple years ago is up there.

Blake Griffin (left quad tendon) was reportedly told he could re-tear his left quad by playing through injury. This may be the biggest 1-2 injury hit in playoff history in one game.
We have to give Griffin credit on this one as many players would have elected for surgery and missed the rest of the season. Griffin had a bone marrow procedure on his injured quad Wednesday morning, but shouldn't have any issue returning in time for training camp.
Brandon Roy tore his meniscus days before the playoffs in his prime, and that essentially ended his career because he chose to take it out instead of repair it so he could come back for the playoffs. I, unfortunately, know what that's like.
wasn't there an interview talking about how Tim Duncan would be giving PF/C dudes advice while in game?
By vic Go To PostSteven Adams about Duncan:nice.
lmao
duncan should be a coach one day.
By Moris Go To PostBlazers weren't supposed to be a winning team and now will be a 2nd round playoff exit. That's pretty awesome for them.
I actually called out in pre-season that the Blazers would be better than people think!
Man, I can't recall the last time I saw a team like the Rockets play with so little heart. That squad needs a hardcore reset. The whole series was just embarrassing. Contrast that to the Clips who played hard but the lack of talent undid them over the full 48.
I hurt my back playing ball last night. First time ever doing that. Really sucks. I'm getting so old. :(

I slipped on a bad spot on the court. It had been almost 3 hours of almost non-stop play (we hadn't lost all night) so I was quite tired and my foot hit that slippery spot and down I went. Knee and ankles didn't buckle but when I got up I was like "holy shit I can't run or jump at all." Like, I couldn't even brisk jog.
Like 2 minutes into the game after, there was a situation off a turnover by us where I was the only person near halfcourt and the dude with the ball was like 6 feet away from me and he just went straight by me because I couldn't run and I was all "yo, I'm done."
I'm much better today. Sitting upright in the car driving home last night was hell. Today it's tolerable. I keep getting hurt since I turned 30. high ankle sprain, plantar fasciitis, horrible finger bone bruise (like, it's permanently deformed now), and now a back tweak. Fuck aging.

"Got two rebounds.... YEP thats enough for today" *blames young people for all other missed loose balls*

Haha, I know what you mean. Halfway through a day, I'm pretty much like "okay, no more ball handling and trying to go around people, too tired for that shit."
I think some people get confused by my age. I look younger than I am (often asked if I'm 25-27) and when I don't jump super high (not that I was ever very athletic in the first place), they're like "jump for that," and I'm all "I am, I'm fucking old, that's as high as I go!" lol

Like, I still gather like I'm about to throw down a windmill or something but what people end up seeing is the most violent layup ever lol
If I didn't learn how to shoot I'd be in trouble. I'm playing almost entirely to setup young kids and be the motivator. Such a 180 from all the shit talking I used to do. I used to start games off letting people think they got past me, then chase down pin garbage to the board, run a break and catch the fat kid in a poster.
Now?
"be sure to set your feet right kid!"
By Mamba Go To PostHaha, I know what you mean. Halfway through a day, I'm pretty much like "okay, no more ball handling and trying to go around people, too tired for that shit."Its terrible. I look 23 if I get a nice shave and edge up, and my first step is still better than what most people will see in their lifetime up close. But going up is an entirely different story.

The Hornets say center Spencer Hawes had a MRI which revealed a sprain of the MCL in his right knee. He will be re-evaluated in a week.

Blatt would be a weird choice if they make him run the Triangle. He's known for the Princeton isn't he?
Honestly NY is beyond saving. That fanbase deserves the misery they get because they've got no patience and a completely entitled mentality.

they never had a process to trust in the first place
By Fenderputty Go To PostThey've blown for a very long time. I would start to lack patience myself
They've blown for a very long time because they were impatient. Because they and the NY media demanded success instantly at all costs which is why they leveraged their future and maxed out mid-tier names. Now they've finally started to go away from that and they're begging for that again.
You give one of the best basketball minds ever a job and in year 1 he keeps the best player you've had in 20 years from leaving and in year 2 he finds the best young prospect you've had since the 80's. But a handful of Isola quotes and two playoff misses in the midst of a total and methodical rebuild and they're just begging to mainline Isiah Thomas strategies again.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostHonestly NY is beyond saving. That fanbase deserves the misery they get because they've got no patience and a completely entitled mentality.Since I started watching basketball in 2000, Knicks have had one season where they weren't absolute shit, and at their best were average.
They had so many small flashes of maybe not being complete shit, but Dolan had to come in and fuck it up numerous times. They maxed out a guy that doesn't even want to be here. How are they supposed to have patience? Like DY and Fender pointed out, there's no process to trust. It's just fuck up after fuck up. I don't know how masud/frankman do it. I guess they were watching longer than me so they at least saw the knicks not be a joke

Who, Melo? All Melo does is talk about how much he wants be in NY. He asked for an NTC so he specifically wouldn't be shipped out unless it was absolutely a perfect situation for him.
By Forever Go To PostStop giving Dolan money.Does... does this mean the Knicks are the Games Workshop of the NBA?

He wants money and he got his money. That NTC is so he doesn't wake up to a phone call telling him he needs to move to Indiana or Milwaukee
It's not Dolan, it's the fans/media. Dolan has been operating under the very true assumption that NY fans can't handle a rebuild. So he was willing to spend tons of money just to keep arguing that he has no problem acquiring talent and trying to be good.
Stephen A Smith, a dude who's been pissed off for years at incompetence finally got a GM that was willing to rebuild and not trade away future assets and he's still bitching because they're not great. The fans who love losing their shit at every single Isola troll tweet or article absolutely deserve the dysfunction they're getting.
