3 dead, 200 injured. 6.4 magnitude in Kyushu. I pray for a quick recovery.
There were no injuries/deaths earlier, but some are being reported now.

Just last week there was a giant fire in Shinjuku Golden Gai with a ton of blackouts and the entire district closed off because a hotel was caught on fire.
My twitter feed has been full of aftermath, people worried, and good luck prayers for those who live in Kyushu.
I hope the warnings don't amount to much. I hope that the amount of damage stays minimal.
By blackace Go To PostThey been getting slammed with aftershocks..Yeah it's crazy. Complete opposite side of the country and luckily is is more structural damage than citizens.

The building complex was actually purposely designed that way to prevent the entire building from collapsing and so that repairs to the walkway would be minimal.
By Kabro Go To Postwow. that building split into two is unreal. :O

At least. And many more hundreds injured compared to the numbers made a few hours after the initial shockwave.
It is good that more of the damage seems to be structural rather than fatal, but it's saddening and scary to see the repercussions as well as any other potential consequences as a result with the tsunami warning and people anxious up from aftershock. Praying for the best and praying for those who passed.
For those who are unable to follow the news, Taiwan has pledged 64 million yen donations and people in the area have setup several shelters and charge stations and provided free access for internet, NHK news access, and more over the past 48+ hours.

Holy crap just catching up. Did that hillside just flat out shift hundreds of yards in and crush the inbetween where the road was??

If you click the Twitter link it shows now much damage was really caused by the landslides.
