You could also add Rondae, but who cares about brooklyn
Jah is actually pretty quick on his feet for a guy his size, can jump higher than people think too. His ass defense isn't a tools issue...more of an awareness and fucks given issue. Also to be fair he was the entire offense for us too so taking plays off is occasionally understandable.

apparently pretty minor fortunately
we'll see how healthy he is this year

Not that other years have been stellar but is anyone else looking at so many teams like "just what the fuck are you trying to do this year?"

Actually..not really? I've said that 90% of the years, but I think this is going to be a pretty competitive year all around. And really the answer to your question is "there wasn't shit in free agency and foresight about cap space was terrible."
Good article.

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Jeff Hornacek said he has the freedom to run the triangle offense the way he wants. But Knicks president Phil Jackson scolded the players when they didn’t run it the way he wants. They're still running the triangle...?
“He got mad at us one time because we were running the offense and we didn’t throw the ball into the post,” Derrick Rose said after practice Thursday. “He came over, kind of grumpy a little bit. That was my first time ever seeing him like that.”

By blackace Go To PostThere are a few…There are teams with messy rosters (Orlando, Bucks, Wizards, Nuggets). But i think i'm with Phaze here. I think there'll be less straight up tanking.
There will be teams that will be bad because of youth (Suns, Philly, Lakers)
And there are teams that just don't have the overall talent or the FO is being odd ( Mavs, Kings)
But overall the only outright tanking team I look at is the Nets. Maybe the Heat throw the towel in if they get in a hole early? Despite Bosh's unofficial retirement, they have the Suns owning their picks for a while.... Miami can't really afford to just dumpster fire it.
Though now i think about it, Miami becomes an interesting place for a trade with Philly.
This isn't to say after a month one team with injuries won't just call it done and chuck it all in.
I still say most teams will actually be trying to win this year.

When I see a team TANKING I know they are know... There are a few teams like the Kings who have drafted and signed centers for no real reason that make you wonder wtf are they doing...
The Kings, the Thunder (tbf losing KD is a good excuse), and the Nets top my list as what the fuck are they even trying to do...
We're about to record for 3 man break's predictions run pretty soon. What do you guys want to see? (Also -who- in upcoming recordings)

By giririsss Go To PostKings and Mavs are my biggest head scratchers. Mavs make just as little sense. The continual "hanging on" going on there is just silly now.Carlisle is a great coach that keeps them punching above their weight class, they will be in the thick of the 6-8th seed race. The Kings tho.....idk. Dave Joerger kinda did the same for Memphis but who is their two guard. Who comes off the bench behind Rudy? Does Cousins and WCS work? Is any of their youth ready to contribute (they drafted projects). Collison hasn't been able to stay healthy (and generally struggles as the starter IIRC), Lawson may be washed. And yet, one could totally see Cousins taking the next step, stop getting mad at life, and Rudy isn't as inefficient and keep them in the run....
honestly tho, its going to be Warriors V Cavs at the end of the year anyway...but the "others" should be pretty jammed packed for once.

Their roster just makes such little sense. Their best player is still Dirk and he's 38 now.

idk, Cuban has been pretty against tanking so he can't tank, so they seem "fine" with just waiting out Dirk's last few years as a solid but thats it team. Although Dirk's age, Deron, Wes and Bogut's injury history could change things mad quick. First Option Barnes is a scary sight

I don't mind the hanging on that much. The Mavs always attempt to put a playoff team on the court and I respect that. All of the moves they made fit their holes just they gave Barnes a stupid contract..

They could quickly degenerate into Knicks West in a season.
Putting a competitive team out on the floor is great and all, but with out an actual plan to do something it's really silly.
I guess the plan is to hang around and hope for a Harden style trade?

Long year for everybody..... You seen that Warriors roster?
All I want is KP to get some good playoff experience...... Or enough injuries early so the Knicks tank for a good pick. Either works for me

Who will average more, Harrison Barnes or Derrick Rose?
I want the show to focus on those fringe star types, sixth man type players and role players who you think will take the next big step for their team. Like unexpected jumps based on things like newfound responsibility, things they work on over the offseason, embracing different roles.
Kind of like how Steven Adams took a step up a bit during the playoffs, or Draymond Green doing what he did since David Lee was benched, Jimmy Butler becoming that face for the Bulls. Marvin Williams type dudes who were ass but saved their franchise season.
On the flip side, character assassinating those established stars who might take a step back this year, who regress, and who becomes team cancers.
I also want to hear thoughts on how you feel the pace of the game and style of play will change for the 2016-2017 year. Your thoughts on how the sport is evolving after this spacing and switch heavy offense that is being focused on.
Alongside your own personal predictions for seeding, personal thoughts on who you think will be the most fun or interesting teams to watch over the season.

I mean, they are going to be BAD when Dirk's contract is up so they most likely get a good pick and reload from there.
Cuban is kind of a tool but I respect that he isn't a fan of the full tank..
