Apollo linked me to the B-Side of "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?" the other day:
Wish that was on the album. It's amazing.

By reilo Go To PostWish that was on the album. It's amazing. Are you saying it's better than One For the Road?!
I think all of my favorite b-sides from them are from Humbug singles. It's such an amazing and creative period for them.
I didn't say it's better. Not sure what One For The Road has to do with that B-Side haha. I just want it on the album as well. Is there a Deluxe edition with all of the B-Sides?
I just think One for the Road is a bad song. AM is a good album, but there's some clunkers there (Snap Out of It. I'm talking about Snap Out of It.).
They've actually never compiled their b-sides, for some reason. Amazon MP3 has a pretty good amount of them, though.

By Moris Go To PostI mentally retired Pierce when the season ended TBH. He shouldn't have played last season.
to be fair he had such a good post season with washington
"Under the new up-tempo offense, Mike D'Antoni has decided to put the ball in James Harden's hands more than last season, like a traditional point guard."
Wait wat
doesn't he handle the ball more than everyone but like 5 players in the nba as it is

I don't care about the PG designation, it's just the idea of him somehow not getting enough touches that's funny to me.
I'm not either. I'm just as you, confused by the idea he wasn't handling the ball enough. He's pretty much the one I saw with it consistently.
I don't think it's possibly for Harden to have the ball anymore Han last season, Houston is in for a wild season
By rodeoclown Go To PostI'd say that Humbug is their most Queens-sounding record. It has that same dirty, desert rock distorted aesthetic and obvious Homme production. But you can still hear the influence Homme has on them on AM, since in a lot of ways, it's Arctic Monkeys most straightforward rock album. They don't definitely don't have a track like R U Mine? or Arabella in them three albums ago.
I really need them to get back at it. I liked that Last Shadow Pupppets album well enough, but gimme more AM, Alex.
They've grown more than any other band that debuted around the same time they came out. Each album sounds different that the one before it.
I love their covers.
By rodeoclown Go To PostHis Bosh stance is totally defensible, though. He'll never play again, nobody will clear him and the only one that doesn't know this is Bosh. He's already done everything, he's going to the Hall, this isn't worth dying over.Basically
And yeah, it's a cold statement. But you've got Bosh running around telling everyone he's working on ccoming back. The heat have probably had multiple conversations with him about the fact that he's finished, he just won't accept it.
So Pat is now closing the door publicly.

like, I wouldn't let anyone go either. Two of those guys could break at any moment and the other wouldn't surprise anyone if he broke the fuck out and looked like a hall of famer (Okafor). So this years about trying 1 billion lineups and seeing who's trash and who isn't.
I mean. Noel looks like a starter but far from an all star. He looks like an Ibaka with better hands but less range.
Noel knows how to play great D Ibaka doesn't...
If he could become stronger at rebounding he would be much more valuable

But Noel could play great D 76'ers would be getting constant offers for him. Good offers.

It is Noel who needs to rebound better. Noel plays pretty damn great D for a 2nd year player. It's his weak showing on the glass and the fact that he will only get you 8 to 10 ppg.
The teams that could use that already have a Noel like player sometimes two (despite him being able to play good D it doesn't make sense to trade for him) or they have nothing to give for him... Honestly the Warriors would kill for Noel but he isn't quite good enough to give up a decent part of their team for him...

I just don't think his defense is that great. But it's honestly hard to tell what anyone has on that 76'ers team. Like judging them is almost impossible to do with any accuracy.

To me his defense is pretty easy to judge because man 2 man he is fairly beastly and he plays good team defense even tho his team is horrible.
Not to mention he gets up and down the floor really well....
It's more of his offensive ceiling that is hard to judge because no PGs or spacing yet...
Noel's defense is as good as advertised.
Easily better than Ibaka.
Without a doubt.. I am wondering if teams are playing hard to get with the 6ers as a way to "punish" them for tanking... Sure if they are will to give up a center for peanuts teams will bite but it seems like they aren't offering them anything worth a damn..
Apparently Mason Plumlee developed a mid range shot

Definitely a buyers market. I'd rather sell low on Okafor than sell Noel for anything. But as you said everyone knows the game being played and there's no benefit in helping them out before they get desperate.

Feel like the tank until you get a franchise changing player rubbed GMs the wrong way.

Agents too. Can't see anyone happy about how it played out.
I could see that, but if all the GMs decided to let you sit on 25 PF/Cs for your sins then you are screwed..

Noel made us a top 10 defense his rookie year. Go look at that roster again and be amazed. His timing for not only blocks but steals is pretty amazing. He still gets bodied 1 on 1 by stronger guys but luckily only 3 of those guys exist and his quick hands still makes trouble. The issue is that he isn't as versitile as we hoped as he struggles guarding the perimeter and thus if you force him out of the paint his shotblocking is negated or else he's out of position. This is why our defense took a step back (plus Jah being aaaaawwwwfullll defensively and the midget backcourt) last year. Noel's offense also isn't as bad when he has actual PGs setting him up and not posting up and shit (his hands are pretty bad tho).
all things considered Jah is the odd man out. In terms of fit, IMO actual upside, and such. However, he isn't a FA, can't be pissy due to his off court stuff so potentially more willing for a bench role for now, and his value as he currently is...is low. A big man that scores well but doesn't rebound or defend and also doesn't stretch the floor (although I think Jah's jump came along a bit as the season went on) is a tough sell. Like who could really use that? Boston maybe because they have top tier defenders at every other postion but they'd hopefully would have to give up one of those...lord willing.

The Cavaliers have been in contact with Norris Cole, Mario Chalmers and Kirk Hinrich. Cole and Chalmers were teammates of LeBron James with the Heat.
