You mean all the centers dream is dead? No wai.
We are stuck kinda until Embiid stops being a corpse.... so never. At this point find the best deal and get it over with. Embiid can't be counted on a starter this season regardless. So whoever remains will still get to shine a bit. It really shouldn't be this hard.

Noel should probably start by making the most of his minutes. As a guy as athletic and unique as he is he should be able to dominate in low minute scenarios.

Pat Riley believes Chris Bosh's latest health setback has apparently convinced the Miami Heat that a return from multiple bouts of blood clots is no longer feasible.
Riley told reporters Monday that Bosh's "Heat career is probably over" and that the team is not actively working toward his return.
"There is not a next step for us," Riley said. "It's pretty definitive for us in our position."
So riley has written off Bosh with like...zero remorse, threw shade LeBron when he left and threw Mr. Miami out of town over money for a team likely to be tanking soon anyway
dude is cold blooded af
His Bosh stance is totally defensible, though. He'll never play again, nobody will clear him and the only one that doesn't know this is Bosh. He's already done everything, he's going to the Hall, this isn't worth dying over.

he's gotta do what he's gotta do basketball wise, but that can't be the first way you address this thing publicly
Tom Thibodeau is so boring. I can't even get excited about his talking up bench players.
Q What do you expect from Nemanja Bjelica in Year 2?I really miss Flip Saunders's word salads and talking in circles sometimes. He would've said like 20 superlatives about a guy he planned to play 15 minutes a night.
A I’m excited about him. He’s had a great summer. He’s in really good shape. He has a very unique skill set: He can shoot the three, he can put it on the floor. The one thing that is probably overlooked is his playmaking ability. You can run pick-and-roll with him. He’s got great vision, he can pass over people.
Ben Simmons has been eating a lot:
https://twitter.com/DerekBodnerNBA/status/780449869169356800
For whatever reason, I am skeptical that Ben Simmons is 270 pounds of muscle, I'm just going to put that out there.
Maybe he's 270 pounds and wants to pretend it's muscle as an excuse for eating too much. "30 pounds of muscle" is the wildest muscle lie since Magic Randolph was on a rookie contract.
edit: Simmons claims he was 217 at end of college season and is now 250.
Okay.
Ben Simmons says he's gained over 30 pounds of muscle since the end of the college season.

like, I wouldn't let anyone go either. Two of those guys could break at any moment and the other wouldn't surprise anyone if he broke the fuck out and looked like a hall of famer (Okafor). So this years about trying 1 billion lineups and seeing who's trash and who isn't.
By diehard Go To PostRoyce Young is a shill and i'm going to troll him when the Jazz win the division.People still pay him to write after his embarrassing Kevin Durant piece this summer?
By IWMTB19 Go To Postedit: Simmons claims he was 217 at end of college season and is now 250.This part is kinda sorta realistic, if not exactly healthy. Anthony Davis loses like 15 pounds over the course of the regular season. If Simmons had similar weight loss over the course of the season, then really, it's only like he added 15lbs of muscle this summer over last! :v
Okay.
Royce Young fanboyed the fuck out this summer. Having him write for a major publication like ESPN is like having Trax write about the Raptors for TSN.

I laughed, but Kobe rarely dribbling himself into a bad position? Dude, like, what? Kobe's dribbling was all about that YOLO life.
Rose is one of the few guys in the NBA i honestly think i might know more about basketball than them.
I'm not surprised that the man who can't wrap his brain around 'consent' doesn't really get basketball either.

By blackace Go To Postso you'd be ok with taking whatever for one of them?I mean I get waiting as Embiid can't be trusted but then there is the human element as well....Noel is extra salty. Jah probably is too if he was trying to lay low after all the off the court shit (and the fact that a lot of Sixers fans are pretty shitty towards him already). Like Faze said, it is probably wise to see what works and what doesn't but eventually you gotta make a choice. Noel can and probably will bolt asap and thus his value drops as the season goes on...so we don't have as much time as we may have hoped.
what about the feelings of the fans? they didn't go through this shit to potentially let go of an all-star because bigs were always the best players available during the tank.
Fuck around and be like Phoenix letting IT go and watching him dominate elsewhere because of "fit", then be stuck with injured ass Eric Bledsoe. Philly needs to look at Phoenix for real.

Rodeo, I've been trying to think of what Arctic Monkeys' AM reminded me of, and it finally hit me: It's like a proper QOTS album. It even has a few Josh Homme appearances.

I've been to a few of these in the past. You get to sit in pretty much any non-floor seat you want. They go through warm-ups, some drills, and then a scrimmage. It's usually pretty fun, especially if you sit really close. It's something else to see how big and fast everyone really is.

Oh no, I'm on the same wavelength as D'Antoni. Harden is now the official point guard of the Rockets: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/17644562

Enjoy your broadcasting career, CB4. It sucked how you left Toronto, but you were always one of my favourites.
By reilo Go To PostRodeo, I've been trying to think of what Arctic Monkeys' AM reminded me of, and it finally hit me: It's like a proper QOTS album. It even has a few Josh Homme appearances.I'd say that Humbug is their most Queens-sounding record. It has that same dirty, desert rock distorted aesthetic and obvious Homme production. But you can still hear the influence Homme has on them on AM, since in a lot of ways, it's Arctic Monkeys most straightforward rock album. They don't definitely don't have a track like R U Mine? or Arabella in them three albums ago.
I really need them to get back at it. I liked that Last Shadow Pupppets album well enough, but gimme more AM, Alex.
R U Mine? is my fucking jam. I love that track to death. I'll check out Humbug. Also, Rated R is just too good even for 2016. What a gem.
Still not ready for the musical chairs that was this off season, gonna hear "so and so" in relation to a team and be confused for the first couple of weeks.
By reilo Go To PostR U Mine? is my fucking jam. I love that track to death. I'll check out Humbug. Also, Rated R is just too good even for 2016. What a gem.R U Mine? has been my most played song on Last.fm for going on five straight years now. No regrets. The b-side that came on that single is called Electricity and it's pretty damn rad, too. Arctic Monkeys have a lot of interesting of tracks that never even make albums.
In their overall discography, Humbug and Favourite Worst Nightmare are tied for me for their best album. FWN is this logical follow up to their debut, but it's a lot more interesting musically. 505, Do Me A Favour, Brianstorm, some excellent tracks on that album. Humbug is so weird and subdued compared to their normal energy, but I really love it. The Jeweller's Hands belongs in their pantheon.
