Crazy stat... KG was in the NBA longer than he was he was alive before he was drafted
7759 days in the NBA

By Moris Go To PostThought Pek said he'd hang it up if he had another injury/set back?Yeah, he's never gonna play again. At least the Wolves are going to give him his money so he'll be set forever, even if his achilles is shot.
He was super fun to watch for three or four years and I'll miss the guy. Big Pek is the reason the Wolves should always hold on to their second round picks. Took a flier on the guy and he was great, even though his career is being cut short due to injury.
The more I see these the more I hate them. How do you fuck this up? Use the old number font for fucks sake
By blackace Go To Posthe played ok in Philly. He decent with the ball in his hands but he is super weak on the glass… I like them Hoyas so I am a bit bias..pls
By Moris Go To PostLaughed IRL.
KG is a douche.
KG was a massive douche bag on the court. Off the court he was apparently a good guy.
But on the court? To his opposition? Douche of the grandest scale.

Somewhat related because all these dudes retiring has me nostalgic. If you guys keep doing that podcast into offseason I'd totally recommend watching old school games and running commentary over it. That would be so hilarious.
Not supposed to really like your opponents, but the things he did to them (and occasionally his teammates)... yikes.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI just hate we never got to see KG with knees against Draymond
KG only ever picked on people way smaller than him though

Pacers radio play-by-play guy will be talking about players' cats this season:
The previous parts of that tweet thread shows that he is serious about this.

By Omzz Go To PostLook how quick KG was ready to step up against Bonneroh please. That one ref was not holding KG back from getting to Bonner.
In contrast to
when kg elbows Quentin Richardson in the face and runs away like a bitch
He wanted no part of that either. Part of his fake tough guy act.
KG has bitched out of every skirmish ever.

It's crazy the stories you hear about what KG was saying vs the other top tier trash talkers... KG was classless with it
By Kibner Go To PostGreen is like 6 inches shorter than KG.
Green probably has 20lbs+ on him though. It's usually guys 6'5" and under he picked on
Knux didn't even get one game to be happy

"I think it's just silly . . . this situation that we are in now with three starting centers," Noel said on the eve of the Sixers' media day. "With the departure of [former general manager and president] Sam Hinkie, I would have figured that management would be able to get something done this summer."
"I feel like it definitely needs to be figured out," he said. "I think at the end of the day, again, you have three starting-caliber centers. And it's just not going to work to anybody's advantage having that on the same team. That's how I'm looking at it. I'm not opposed to anything, but things need to be situated."
Noel said he wasn't speaking negatively about the team's other starting-caliber centers, Embiid and Jahlil Okafor. Nor was he speaking for them.
"Don't get me wrong. We all get along great on the court and off the court," Noel said. "But at the end of the day, it's like having three starting quarterbacks. It doesn't make any sense."
I can't believe the 76ers haven't traded Jahlil Okafor yet.
This is just insanity. They have:
PF: Ben Simmons/Dario Saric
C: Nerlens Noel/Joel Embiid/Jahlil Okafor
These are their last five major draft picks.

the problem is only one of those players is good enough to demand teams to really get back at the 76ers about and they aren't trading him. Noel will get a little buzz, and teams should want Okafor but he had those red flags last season... Embiid people are going to wait until at least deep into the preseason to see if his foot doesn't explode.
So at this point the best they might get is a Crabbe tier player for Noel or Okafor..

The only thing I can think of is that they're not confident at all that Embiid makes it past December. Otherwise I'd sell low and grab that Crabbe level player for Okafor and not have everyone upset over minutes.

Seems like they don't want to sell low to me. It would be a bit of a waste unless they get that perfect player. Ben can slide to SF for a min anyways.
Moris come get your boy!

"I told him I remember playing with (Walton) on 2K," Russell told Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report. "I used to always play as him. I'm a fan. I'm definitely a fan."
The choice to frequently play as Walton comes as a strange one. Walton was never one for panache, and his ratings in the gaming franchise hovered between the low 70s and high 60s. In 2013, Walton's final year as a player, his rating was a paltry 66 - a full six points less than the likes of Lakers outcast Nick Young.
So was there anything in particular about Walton's skillset that appealed to Russell?
"Because he was a point forward. I can't speak on Elgin Baylor and all those guys, but my era, I know he was a point forward."

My old fetish in 2k was finding guys to dominate with that were role players. I remember hyping up Jason Kapono before he broke out. Luke Walton naw
