KD too real for this world
By pilonv1 Go To PostFor leaving? Probably. For telling the homer OKC media to GTFO? No way.You wouldn't have clowned him for jumping on the bus to take a feels trip?
It's like Psy said why would I care wtf KD wants to do on Tuesday... Ninja ain't called me to ask how I have been...
By Moris Go To PostExum had a historically awful rookie year and busted his knee before he could redeem himself, Smart is half a basketball player, Vonleh and Stauskas are awful. He's literally a -1 VORP. A genuine net negative. Smart is + 1 or so. Smart, contributes to the team winning. Randle doesn't.
Randle is nowhere near the worst of the first rounders. You're way off on this one giri.
Speaking of OKC media, they just picked up a pretty good writer/podcaster in Brett Dawson (@BDawsonWrites). He's a good follow, Gondo.
He just needs to own the decision. Give a conclusive statement that doesn't reek of being coached by a PR firm.
"It was time to move on, I thought things had run their course in OKC. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to play with GS."
Everything he has said since the decision has been couched in defensiveness.

Probably, but to me this is a shot at Royce Young in particular than a feels trip. If you read it with the rest of the article it's probably a bit clearer than that snippet

I think it is really interesting to hear and see the kind of hobbies and normal lives that these athletes have. That is just me tho.
If I ever get to interview a player the things i ask is things like that like their favorite recipe if they like to cook or if they love photography, their set up and their developing techniques, or just their overall thoughts about how the league is through their eyes.
I do think KD is a whiny bitch at times tho, but respect him.

By blackace Go To PostYou wouldn't have clowned him for jumping on the bus to take a feels trip?Right. But if Psy's point stands so does KD's. If you don't care to know the guy, what does he give 2 shits about your opinion? He doesn't.

By giririsss Go To PostRight. But if Psy's point stands so does KD's. If you don't care to know the guy, what does he give 2 shits about your opinion? He doesn't.Except KD really, really cares what people think about him.
And his entire image in OKC was built around what he did off the court. Read Lee Jenkins' SI article from when it looked like we were headed to the Finals.
Promote that image by all means, but don't be surprised when there's a backlash because of how you handled the exit.

I know I was never going to get it because it's not Garnett, but I really did want some grand farewell. At least I'll get a really nice jersey retirement ceremony.

I do love catfish. I should ask my employer if I could work remotely while I fish and see if they say yes lol

The over feels pretty damn likely for us barring a Russ injury.
I also think this is not the final roster. We have a glut of bigs and I expect us to make a move for shooting on the wing.

orlando seems like an easy over. they won 35 last year with dickhead skiles making everyone miserable.
way better coach. ibaka and biyombo plus gordon's continued improvement. also miami got a lot worse.

Okay, do you know when the last time was that the league didn't have at least two teams at 20 wins or under? Basically never. Neither of them are hitting those numbers. Like, those numbers could be the number of successful plays those teams will run all season.

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostPorter for Sabonis straight upNah man. We need flexibility going into next summer, and we already need to re-sign Oladipo, Adams, and Roberson.
