in his defense, YNB is massively over rated in a LOT of area's. People gloss over it a lot because of his raw athleticism.
Chris Bosh is now likely to be cleared by the Miami Heat while remaining on blood thinners.
According to a union source, there is growing optimism that Bosh will be allowed to resume his career. Last season, the Heat resisted the idea of allowing Bosh to take a new form of blood thinner that would be out of his system in approximately eight hours but they are now more open to it.
Whether Bosh would be able to play in every game, such as the second set of back-to-backs, remains to be seen.
Barring a setback in the next few weeks, it would now be surprising if Bosh isn't cleared.

Westbrook is amazing but he's awful in late game situations. I don't even mean the silly clutch argument, he just generally plays in a consistently terrible manner late in games.

Shit selection
He shoots 43%+ Basically AI... Granted AI took a lot of bad shots too

He does seem to be more of a starter than a finisher
By blackace Go To Postwho overrates Westbrook's 30% 3 point stroke? There were people (or a person) in here during last season calling him a good shooter. It was in response to someone else being a bad shooter and how that was limiting them, though I can't remember the other player in question.

His mid range game is aiight tho
By blackace Go To PostHis mid range game is aiight thoIs it though?
He took ~ .280 of his shots from 10ft to inside the 3pt line. And hit them at around .400. Backed up by a .296 3pt shot, which account for .230 of his shots.
So he's taking over half his shots in areas that he's averaging ~.36 or .37.
He takes WAY too many pull up 2's.
And 3's.
He's still mediocre on defense. His assits were way up this year, but he still has a ton of really dumb decisions on offense.
Yeah, 23 & 10 isn't mediocre. Those are great numbers. But I still see YNB as a numbers player, and nothing else.
I'm legit worried for Bosh. I fully understand him not being able to just walk away from the game, but I don't want anything bad to happen to him, his situation is kind of scary.
By giririsss Go To PostIs it though?
it is indeed aiight... it's not automatic or anything but it goes well with his game
By blackace Go To Postit is indeed aiight… it's not automatic or anything but it goes well with his gameNah it's sub par. I'ts not alright.
He needs it as part of the makeup of his game. But it's sub par. Particularly as a makeup of 50% of his shots.
I just don't think they're even going to try for 73 again. They can win 65 and still take the 1 seed comfortably.

They're not going for it again. They even passively admitted it was a mistake already.
They'll got for 65 and enter the play offs at full health, rested, and ready.

but it's not... 3 to 10 is sub par and it's his least taken shot...
His biggest issue is he takes too many 3s but his mid range is aiight...
plus he is such a beast near the cup

John Wall's a better 3pt shooter.
Doesn't mean I want either of them taking them because they're still subpar.
YNB's 3 - 9 is subpar. But it's higher than his 16 -3pt.

By blackace Go To PostSince 2010 that happened once during the year he couldn't stay healthy…It happened last year. And both years before 2010.
Kobe had a lot of up and down years in the mid range, and got killed for taking them when he wasn't shooting them well.
YNB, in 16 chances (8 years x 2 categories) has only only beat Kobes CAREER % in those categories 3 times.
He's not even sniffing CP3's %'s. (then again, i doubt many ever will, god tier shot selection).
He isn't that far from Wiggins territory.
But more than that, shooting .400 on a 2pt shot, when you're taking THAT MANY, isn't a good thing.
There's guys who take them spacing so you have to honor the rest of their game, Like Amar`e. And when Amar`e was relelvant (i.e. not dead) he was hitting those shots at .45
I mean, people want to call YNB a super star, so he should be getting compared to guys in that category.
So naw, his mid range isn't "alright". It exists. I get why he needs to take them. But it's not "alright". It's sub par, and every time he takes one it's a victory for the defense. A big victory. And with out KD there, do you know what he's going to get a staple of this year?
It's why he's still really over rated to this day.

Young: Ah, man. I think it’s great.

Young: I would do the same thing, man.
TMZ: So you’re gonna take a kneel [sic] next time they play the national anthem?

NBA players actually get fined for not standing for the anthem.

The NBA is by far the most progressive big league in the US. The NFL has people losing their shit over it and in the MLB it would simply never happen.
