Here, have an article about Mike Malone: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/michael-malones-intensity-paves-the-best-path-forward-for-nuggets/
Talks about how hard he takes losses, how angry he is with the Kings organization (he and his family haven't worn purple since being fired; not sure if that's a joke of his or not), and other things. My selfishly favorite quote:

"It all starts at the ground level: get to know them," Malone said. "Whether you're a 19 year-old from Toronto, or a 20-year-old from Madrid, or a 21-year-old from Bosnia, to me, none of that matters. If I don't get to know them, there's never going to be a connection. I'm still a pretty young, hip guy which helps.
"Monty Williams, who I worked with in New Orleans, had a saying. 'The players don't care how much you know until they know how much they care.'"
I went to a Sparks game. Got 2 really good seats for 70$ something after fees and taxes. Same seats at a Laker game would run about +$500.
Gonna hit up a Pre-Season game too.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postcan't believe brad just turned 23 a couple of months ago
Is that how much he's making a year more than Wall?
By Moris Go To PostThinking about hitting a regular season game but 2 good seats run ~400$.No matter how high up you are, tickets on the halfcourt line are great.

Might heed this advice.
By Moris Go To PostMight heed this advice.Just avoid corner seats, no matter what. Terrible viewing angle to see what's going on.
Like, I have sat in the balcony along the free throw line and along the halfcourt line for full seasons while also having sat in lower bowl corner and lower bowl behind the basket a couple times. For seeing how plays develop, nothing is better than along the halfcourt line for me. Sitting in the corner is just awful. A bad viewing angle relative to how plays happen and also the basket blocking the far corner on one side of the court.
The lower bowl seats were good for showing me just how ridiculously big and fast the players are, though. If you get close enough, you can hear the players talk some shit to each other, too.

whew my brain read Perry Ellis as Perry Jones at first
not sure which is worse at this point
i really thought PJ3 was gonna be something but i made the fatal mistake of assuming he actually loves basketball.

WE DID IT DOMINO
Speaking of dudes who look 15 years older than they are
By blackace Go To PostI don't know about stalled… he added legit 3 pt range last season… stayed at 24 ppg and is a legit double double…
Today who is a better PF than AD?
even missing 1/4 or the season
He's not even 24 until March and he's played at least 60 games in his first four years. Unless he's completely broken down like Oden/Bynum he's not a risk.

By giririsss Go To PostNice, it's like the older one's back in the day. I thought it was ugly when they had black and orange.
New Suns court.
So much better.

By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostNot basketball related but that Danny Glover Atlanta was amazing. Go and see it BrehsI liked the promos. I'm gonna give it a watch. Thx for the reminder.
By blackace Go To PostWarriors no fucks given
Lot of those contested ones would be Klay too.
That table really needs to rank by volume as well. Dubs took 2600 threes, so they had 2080 open threes, which is more than 18 teams had in total.
Wizards at #1 took 1983 threes in total, and 1764 open.

Just finished it, real good premiere.
For players in the top 20 in Playmaking USG%, John Wall’s Playmaking eFG% was third behind only CP3 & Russell Westbrook. h/t @NylonCalculus
Players logged an eFG% of 61.20% on shots assisted or potentially assisted by John Wall last season per @NylonCalculus.
And this was on incredibly high volume. On 25.2% of his plays, John Wall contributed a potential AST or free throw AST. (@NylonCalculus)
Through 2/23, Wall had created 184 made 3-pointers (off of his assists), 20 more than *any* other player in the league. (@NylonCalculus)
your move Brad.

The UA Curry 3 Dub NatioN yall
…Steph is gonna be completely human this year isn't he?
UA making knockoff Js now?
New 3ManBreak episode up: http://slaent.com/thread/839597/page/4/
UA needs some better designers in their shoe department. I dunno how people can like any of the crap they've pumped out. It either looks generic or ugly or both.
http://weartesters.com/close-on-foot-view-ua-curry-3/
Looks a little better on a foot, but still terrible compared to the Curry 2 which is looking more and more like a fluke of design
