Kings are losing their pick as soon as Cousins' contract ends. They are opening a new arena. Trading and tanking isn't really ideal for them.
And there's no reason for the fans to believe the team can build around an unproven rookie when they failed to do so around a top 10 player already.

Just want to throw out there if anybody wants on the waitlist for the SLAENT 2016 Yahoo NFL Fantasy Football Play or Die League, spots may open up soon. Also diehard the due date to lock in your spot is this Friday, after that it's first come first served.
By Moris Go To PostKings have to trade Cousins, cause it's pretty clear if he has a chance he's walking. Kings can either turn him into a decent rebuild or be delusional and basement dwell for the foreseeable future.Thing is, I think one decent year with a decent coach and DMC could buy in. And it's not like Wall is super happy in Washington.
I also believe DMC would team up with Wall if at all possible.
I believe that at some point in their careers, the two will team up. Just whether it will be in their prime or the tail end of their careers.

Right. They also had a happy and focused DMC. Then fired Malone.

By DY_nasty Go To Postthe closer they get to the deadline…Nah we arent gonna trade him with our .650 win percent at the deadline
i mean shit, utah and orlando are eating good right now
By Face it Tiger.. Go To PostBrandon Ingram has a 78 rating… wtf 2K.doesn't matter. point guards shorter than 6'3' are garbage. Chris Paul is damn near useless(and still looks like the Hulk)
that boy would get beaten up in the paint.
NBA rookies believe No. 5 overall pick Kris Dunn is in for a big season.
In a poll of 38 first-year players conducted by NBA.com, Dunn was voted most likely to win the Rookie of the Year award. Dunn, a guard out of Providence selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves, was also voted by his peers as the best defender and best playmaker in the class.
But Scrubio...
By giririsss Go To PostRight. They also had a happy and focused DMC. Then fired Malone.Yup. It was the absolute dumbest thing ever. I think we have discussed and agreed on this before. lol
By Adam Blade Go To PostBut Scrubio…when you can draft Brown who needs Dunn?
By DY_nasty Go To PostRubio gonna love it in NYNY going to be undefeated at the deadline...
By diehard Go To PostKlay being a 90 lolI'd give him no more than an 81. And that's being generous
By DY_nasty Go To PostI don't think Klay is better than Bobcats JAAAXXXXKlay is statistically better in almost every offensive category, but I see your point..
By blackace Go To PostKlay is statistically better in almost every offensive category, but I see your point..stastiscally better while playing on one of the most spaced out floors in NBA history
he's not a good passer, he's an idiotic defender, he's picky about when he carries offensive loads, and he's somehow worse than stephen jackson when it comes to keeping himself in games
he's the shittiest 'top 5' sg the league has seen people were trying to hype michael redd

By blackace Go To PostYeah he has nothing to do with the floor spacing and just reaps the rewardsyou can jock 6'7 ben gordon if you want to
By DY_nasty Go To Postyou can jock 6'7 ben gordon if you want to
few players have Wade or Kobe longevity... So throwing Redd and Gordon names out there as if their careers were horrible is funny to me...
That's like saying Rip was trash...

just that they are the tier of player that klay belongs in. he's probably the 5th best player on his team now
By DY_nasty Go To Postim not saying rip or gordon were trashCurry and KD are obliviously better...Green is just as up and down as Klay, but he does more so I might say he is better... and?
just that they are the tier of player that klay belongs in. he's probably the 5th best player on his team now
I mean Klay being a top 5 SG is a combo of being pretty damn good and the SG position being pretty damn weak....
By blackace Go To PostCurry and KD are obliviously better…Green is just as up and down as Klay, but he does more so I might say he is better… and?iguodala is better than klay at everything by a massive margin outside of shooting.

so yeah - sg is weak as fuck right now, but its so weak that guys like klay are getting props that they really shouldn't be getting.
By giririsss Go To PostUhhhh klays not a bad passer at all.http://www.sportingcharts.com/nba/stats/player-assists-to-turnover-ratio/2015/
look for him in the early 200s
By DY_nasty Go To Postiguodala is better than klay at everything by a massive margin outside of shooting.Klay is SO much better at offense that he makes AI look pretty bad...

By blackace Go To PostKlay is SO much better at offense that he makes AI look pretty bad…he really isn't though
i mean, lets be real - defenses can't even do normal stuff that they're founded on against golden state because Curry and Draymond. Klay sucks at the rim. He's terrible. But defenses can't risk rotating like normal because Curry is the god shooter and Draymond is gonna put them in a blender off the next pass. What's left? Klay going Charmin to the hoop and an opposing coach thanking god that his team isn't left mindfucked for at least one possession. You end up 'accepting' Klay drives.
Klay might be the weakest 6'7 SG I've ever seen in my life going to the rim. Dude makes Wally look like JR Smith.
Doesn't matter when you shoot over 40% from everywhere in the building tho.. Iggy hasn't been a go to player on O for about 7 years now..
By blackace Go To PostDoesn't matter when you shoot over 40% from everywhere in the building tho.. Klay ain't doing shit but his job. Stay open, get buckets. That's not #1 option criteria.
Again, I am wondering where this number 1 option stuff is coming from? He gets credit because the dude is a lights out shooter who can get crazy hot...
By blackace Go To PostAgain, I am wondering where this number 1 option stuff is coming from? He gets credit because the dude is a lights out shooter who can get crazy hot…i said jax was better
klay can barely stand being a #1 option for two quarters in a row
By DY_nasty Go To Posti said jax was betterNumbers wise Jax wasn't better...Maybe if Klay played for a bum team we would know for sure... But I think he would be a 19+ ppg player anywhere.

2k gave Gobert a B+ on inside defense. How does one get an A? Oh, Jordan and Whiteside got better, thats so 2k of them.
By diehard Go To Post2k gave Gobert a B+ on inside defense. How does one get an A? Oh, Jordan and Whiteside got better, thats so 2k of them.tbf MJ was a beast on D
or are we speaking DeAndre? If so lol
By DY_nasty Go To Posthe really isn't thoughI'm not sure ATO is really relevant here for Klay...

But You're mad that a guy that has Durant Range. Not Curry Range, but Durant Range, isn't god tier at the rim?
And he's a solid enough post up game for a SG.
That's what makes the Curry/Dray thing ultra hard to defend, out side of what they alone bring.
Klay is a true B. You don't want him as your first option.
But as we found out, you don't want Jax as your first option either.
its really just like....
its too easy to defend him being 6'7 ben gordon. its totally okay that he's who he is despite the glaring holes in his game that still somehow come to the surface despite his amazing team composition. you could go so far as to say that if the warriors replaced him with Bradley Beal that there'd be negligible drop off.
And I'm not hating on him as a shooter. I'm saying that he's not getting the looks that he has in GS anywhere else in the league. Someone tell me that's wild statement. Pls. Hell, his weak post up game only works because you can't double anyone on GS without eating a layup most of the time.
As for the bolded, naw breh. You can't just take a guard's A/T ratio, look at it, and decide you don't want it because reasons. Especially when what did the Warriors in was in fact their glaring weakness all season long -> -> being ridiculously loose with the ball. Klay was a part of that too.

but really Dy... being on a good team doesn't make your weaknesses just go away... and the you keep going to the fact that he plays on the Warriors
