My grilled Chicken sandwich, with applewood smoked bacon, gruyere/Mozzarella cheese and basil garlic mayo
The weather's been a bit chilly and windy again lately, so I had to bring out the stew pot.
Started out with chorizo and red onions, added garlic, harissa powder, cumin and dried herb mix. Then sliced piccolo tomatoes and mushrooms. Once they were all fried off together, added cannellini and butter beans, tinned tomatoes and coconut milk. Let that reduce down and stew for bit, served it up with a squeeze of lemon and the zest.

It’s Christmas Eve so I’m starting a new tradition of making Eggs Royale for breakfast every year now
Baked a ham, made stuffing and mash for Christmas dinner.
Trying to think what to make with the leftover ham.

By reilo Go To PostThat's a good looking eggs benedictEggs Benedict is with ham, Royale is with smoked salmon.
Jk what's the difference 😂
By HonestVapes Go To PostEggs Benedict is with ham, Royale is with smoked salmon.Think us Yanks call that an Eggs Atlantic, but might be wrong.
If it were up to me, all the variations would just be “Eggs Benedict with…”. I blame the French for their fancy and confusing names.

Sounds like they're simple enough, but still

family's recipe with italian sausage, onions, celery, apples, eggs, milk, poultry seasoning and s&p. topped with turkey gravy. really really good but it's mostly air. one batch feeds two w/ no leftovers. get why it's a side dish

I made chiliquilles this weekend from scratch. Forgot to take pictures but it turned out fantastic. Will take pics next time
My wonderful wife fried the chips up while I made the sauce.
3 chilies guajillo dried
1 onion halved
I like garlic so i did 4 cloves lol
(2) large tomatoes halved
1 cup water and 1 cup chicken stock
Bring to boil and reduce to simmer for about 10 min. Reserve some water to thicken later as needed. Purée. Cook puréed sauce for another 10 min or so and add salt to taste and a 1/2 teaspoon of oregano when doing so.
We started frying the eggs here. Once eggs were on we tossed chips into sauce added cheese and then placed with fried eggs on top.
My kids demolished it lol … so did we but I love when my kids eat well haha

Dried chilies need to be puréed and you’re only rough cutting the onions and tomatoes and smashing tbe garlic the other veggies. I’ll take pics it will show.
It’s super easy man

Soften the dried chilies. I suppose you could steep them and purée and then cook the sauce. The chilies are fairly thick and leathery
Also
I got the recipe from my coworkers mom lol. I just do what I’m told
Edit: the recipe calls for a dried chili arbol too but I was cooking for my kids so I left that out
Just had a meatball and banana pepper sub from a little place in Lynchburg called Giorgio's

I'm having a girl over to make fresh pasta and sauce tomorrow. Any suggestions for a good white wine sauce with spicy Italian sausage?
