Q: How many DLCs will there be?
A: We will make three large DLCs as planned. First one will be out in Fall 2016, Second one in Early 2017, Third one doesn't have a date yet.
Oh baby.

I was well aggressive in that fight and did it first time. Aggression was all I ever knew up until a point.
One boss changed that for me.

Anri If you met her in the catacombs, then you haven't.

Do you access the lake below the Catacombs bridge later on, or have I missed the path to it?
Done everything in the smouldering lake except the boss. Wish I could kill whatever cunt was firing the ballista at me. Though he did kill the worm for me :P

you could! Are you sure you explored that cave thoroughly :p because you're supposed to find a ladder that leads you up that the ballista.
what lake? Could you send me a picture of it on PSN? As usual, every area you see, you can get to.
By Yurt Go To Postyou could! Are you sure explored that cave thoroughly :p because you'll supposed to find a ladder that leads you up that the ballista.Oh, I've turned it off. Just wish I could kill whatever was firing it, insted of it just being a lever

it was probably created by non other than Hawkeye Gough or one his people, no? That looked like his corpse
Figured it out, it's the little enclave where you fight Horace
Stupidly put a load of titanite into the uchigitana for a damage upgrade over the ithyrill blade, then remembered that the uchi takes a lot more stamina per swing. Ithyrill gives me like 6 attacks per stamina bar, uchi only 3
Fuck that. Windup is much longer as well

Boreal Valleydone except for what I assume is the boss. Stepped into the dungeonjust far enough to light the bonfire
Only remaining mystery of this area is the platforms in the room at the top of the stairs in the church. Maybe I can get there after the boss

Getting a bit annoyed by the number of bosses which have attack patterns clearly timed to knock you down then kill you at the exact moment you get up
This Pontiff fight is especially egregious

By Hitch Go To Post@Yurt, is the difficulty spike Irithyll dungeon and Anor Londo?Yeah, gradually till the last area.
Bosses too.
So the adjustment to way of blue is that using a dried finger lets 2 sentinels or moons be summoned.
I'm not sure from software understands the problem

Did Pontiff on my third go, fantastic boss. Also did Yhorm the Giant, pretty easy when you figure out what to do, lol.
Also freed Siegward from the dungeons but I did that after I beat Yhorm :( Oh well, something to try on my next playthrough.

Picking this up now I've finally finished Bloodborne.
I'm already going to apologise for the waves of questions that are going to be in this thread from me soon.

On what I believe is the last boss. It's okay. Pretty frustrating fight; came within 3 hits of doing it but now out of ember and fucked. Will try and help with bosses.
absolutely hilarious (and somewhat accurate!) recap of DS3's story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FsiX_xkjuQ
spoilers obviously, but you can watch half of it at least

Just beat the final boss.
Don't think I loved it as much as Bloodborne overall; the story, lore, soundtrack and aesthetics of the bosses and enemies I preferred there.
But the gameplay and armour and weaponry and everything in here, I liked more. Still a sensational game and will start a NG+ pretty soon I think.
Final boss list
Dancer of the Boreal Valley
Champion Gundyr
Lothric and Lorian, Twin Princes
Nameless King
Pontiff Sulyvahn
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
Oceiros, the Consumed King
Curse-Rotted Greatwood
Dragonslayer Armour
Abyss Watchers
Vordt of the Boreal Valley
High Lord Wolnir
Yhorm the Giant
Soul of Cinder
Crystal Sage
Deacons of the Deep
Ancient Wyvern
Iudex Gundyr
Old Demon King

the bosses I absolutely consider top tier as well
Dragonslayer, Abyss Watchers, Aldrich, Oceiros, Soul of Cinder(s) and maybe Vordht. Or at least I immensely enjoyed fighting them!
this made the fight for me

Yhorm was epic solooooo, and then you read his soul and you weep. Unknowingly wiped out his own people by sacrificing himself by linking the fire. Shoulda read the footnote that said only humans can link it and not giants with great souls.
By Facism Go To PostChampion Gundogan is one of my favourite fights.
Yeah, it was fantastic. Beat it on my second go, but one of those fights that was so satisfying and you really learn mid fight
By Hitch Go To PostHaven't played since Thursday

I lost interest halfway through NG+ and started playing Scratchit and Wank instead. Game doesn't have the staying power of DS1, 2 or Bloodborne, unfortunately. Glad they're looking to give the series a rest, as they've had scant few new ideas and have even taken steps back on many things like covenants, online features and build diversity.
I still disagree on online features, it's exactly where I want it to be. I love the chaotic nature of it, but what I don't like is how pussy the majority of the community is. They need to tweak how a couple of those covenants work though, and I'm optimistic!
They did fix all of the issues with summoning as well. They really deserve major props for this whole 3-5 seconds to get in a game/invade after the broken mess that was Beckoning Bell :lol I'm glad they fucking got rid of Arenas too, fuck that shit, I'd much rather fight in a level.
I'm on my third playthrough, but with a totally different character. NG+ isn't as good as DS2 (none were) because it's basically the same thing here with the exception of new rings/items. So if you wanna play it again I highly recommend trying a different build entirely
still think my mercenary is the most fun I've had yet

By n8 Go To PostYeah man, being summoned is so fucking easy in this game. Fought loads of bosses today, love it.I'm working on getting the covenant weapons and spells atm!
That seppuku katana was one of the rewards

Nah, they removed the small soapstone, the ability to still invade/suffer invasions in an area even if you've cleared the boss and no fucking blue eye orb. Covenants suck the fattest DJ Khaled dick. Only the 2 auto-invasion covenants are great fun. sunbro is sunbro, hasn't changed at all. Darkmoon is complete shit. Should have still been about invading PVP sinners and still had the auto-summon to protect players. Mound Makers is interesting, but too much trust put in the player base not to treat it as a pure PVP covenant. I've had mad fun getting summoned and fighting invaders for the host in that late-game area.
High Wall bonfire is great for PVP though. People don't chug and you get quick, tense fights because of it. Plus i like to leave presents for opponents, like 5 Titanite Chunks or the odd Symbol of Avarice, sitting in a circle of lights ;p

yay props for something working like it should :p Can't really agree about arenas, choices are always nice when it comes to pure pvp desires of players.

Never rated DS2 NG+, it didn't really switch things up as much as they hyped it up.

I've pretty much got a quality build going so I've been using a mix of STR and DEX weapons through my playthroughs. The new gem reinforcements are fucking great compared to the previous games. Being able to manage attribute scaling with them means you're never really locked out of a set of weapons due to whether you went primarily STR or DEX over a quality build.
Overall it's a great game, but the series really needs to take a few years off for some fresh ideas to rise to the top.
Still think DS2 = DS3.
I mean, if DS3 was just the last two levels and 5 bosses it would still be better than 2. A 150 hour game with not a single memorable area or boss. 💩
By Facism Go To Postpls, i bet you loved Dragon Rider and Dragon Rider x2.the giant spider was my favourite souls boss
followed closely by Big Angry Rat #1 and Bigger Angrier Rat #2
By Bungie Go To PostIs it this Dancer armour that's making me do backflips?you're either using the Abyss Watcher's greatsword or that's just your normal >70% flip

i must know how you beat pontiff so easily
on my like 8th try, havent even got him to half health

So I finished DS2 SOTFS yesterday.
Ready to jump into DS3 when I get home.
Any tips.
I heard that the starting class if pretty important in this game.
I am usually a melee guy who likes Katanas and light shields for parrying. I only really use soul arrows to get people's attention and when it is a two vs one situation in a boss fight, I am looking at you ruin sentinels and the half a dozen gargoyles.
I usually just put a lot in to dex with endurance and vitality. Then strength for late game shields. I only upgrade attunement and intel for soul arrows when I need it.
What would be the best starting class for me?
