By The Frankman Go To PostWow I hate Utley but that was a clutch single.
I used to hate him. Love that guy
Max won't let us down
Stras will be ready for the Cubs. Probably only take one game in that series though.

I'm feeling as good as I can. We have some guys in our lineup that have had success against Max. Hill pitched well last game minus one hanging pitch that got hammered and has been lights out all season.
Welp Dodgers trying to out choke the Nats now... 2-run homer by Heisley and single, no one out in the 7th.
EDIT: What fuckery is this... Kenley Jansen pitching in the 7th? Is he trying for a 3 inning save?

By Moris Go To PostFender we might do it!
I can't breath right now
Dodgers, Nationals and Chargers trying to out choke each other. Rendon vs. Jansen, bases loaded 2 out.
By The Frankman Go To PostWhat is Dusty doing? Does he want to double switch all his offense out of the game?
Jansen with a 9 out save tho..,
No way Jansen is pitching 3 innings. He throws too hard and doesn't usually throw a lot of pitches, he'll be throwing 92-93 pretty soon. He'll have to use Baez or Maeda i'd think, however Nats have to make him work.
EDIT: Jansen's max this year is 30 pitches. He's at 32 with 2 out now in the 8th.

Who do we go with in the 9th? Maeda?
Wow If he can get Taylor on 3-4 pitches... he might do it. He's definitely lost some velocity though, down to 93-94 now. His cutter is actually looking BETTER now lol.
Holy fuck Clayton Kershaw is now warming up... on one day's rest. Dave Roberts is on crack.
I'd think Jansen starts the inning at least... then maybe Kershaw faces Harper?

Trea Turner is the key AB. Jansen has overpowered him every time, if Turner gets on Kershaw comes in.
EDIT: Turners K's. Big out, Jansen faces Harper.

2-0 to Harper, if he gets on... then what? Kershaw vs. Werth is a tough matchup, and after him is Murphy, who you don't want facing Kershaw IMHO.
Walk to Harper, and here comes Kershaw. Jansen is at 45 pitches, if they don't take him out Harper's stealing 2nd. Jansen doesn't hold runners well.
EDIT: Roberts is keeping him in, velocity still good but his command is going.

By The Frankman Go To PostWalk to Werth. 1st and 2nd, 1 out for Daniel Murphy. Here comes Kershaw!
This would be so much less stressful if I wasn't a dodger fan
Kershaw i'd think has 30-40 pitches in him, enough for 1 inning. Dodgers better hope they win it here, they don't have much pen left.
EDIT: Short fly ball by Murphy, wow. 2 outs.

OH HEY LOOK THE SPOT WHERE ANTHONY RENDON WAS AT... HE'S NOT BATTING! DUSTY BAKER, GENIUS MANAGER FOLKS!!!
Dodgers win as the Nationals PHing strikes out, Dodgers hold on barely to win. Thank Dusty Baker for that chokejob. Congrats Fender and Morris.
EDIT: Dodgers-GAF can suck it though.

MLB Postseason action: Fan-FUCKING-tastic. Baseball postseason can have a sickening intensity that the NBA and NFL lacks. The last 3 innings were agonizing and I'm a Mets fan.
3rd base coaches have been fired for less, but i think Dusty yanking Scherzer after the Pederson HR was asinine. Scherzer gives up homers; he still was strong and could've finished the inning. Why goto a pen that wasn't exactly a strength?
I won't even get into the plethora of pitching changes or the ridiculous double switches.

Please don't go crazy in LA. Cubs are a big time challenge and it looks like Maeda will pitch Game 1.
