By shun Go To PostPeople need to stop with the over saturation and the ugly and unnecessary usage of vignetting in NBA sports photography. How can anyone think some of the photos taken look good?
this is disgusting. how do people think these processing effects look good and why do they keep getting use and hired.
You can edit a portrait without making it look visually gross.
tons of regular sports photos look not good with the level of oversauration and vignette

Why.
If you are the person who made that picture, do you not feel any shame towards your craft and profession?
I would love to be a full time photographer if it even paid well.

NBA Digitals marketing/graphic design has always been trash. Several teams outdo them over and over.
It is like if I asked psych to make the SLAENT website when reilo is right there.
It is not even in the NBA I see it way too often amongst amateurs and professionals alike where they overuse filters and effects to "exaggerate" a photo. The Warriors photos is trash too Lacob you can't even hire someone to do a good job for a team doing well.

And you have Adams too, whom is meant to be great.

If I can potentially get the next Hakeem on a cheap contract for the cost of a protected pick I do it. If he recovers he's a probable superstar.
And I believe Kanter will be moveable down the road if we need to.

For the first time, the NBA will track a new batch of "hustle stats" in the playoffs and post them online within hours of the end of every game, league officials told ESPN.com.http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15203926/nba-track-hustle-stats-playoffs-first
The NBA tried this in a pilot program at Las Vegas Summer League last season and distributed the numbers to media and teams there. The reaction was positive, and the NBA decided to compile the stats in games that count.
"We decided to take this to the next level," said Evan Wasch, the NBA's senior vice president of basketball strategy and analytics.
The league will track how often defenders contest 2- and 3-point shots, deflections by defensive players, charges taken, which players recover loose balls, and so-called "screen assists," which the league defines as picks that lead directly to a made field goal attempt by a teammate. The "screen assist" category will not include picks that result in a teammate drawing a shooting foul or that free up someone for a shot one or two passes down the chain, officials said.

It can't involve players / picks at all. Just salary.

If we lose our pick this year and keep Byron we'll be tanking again. If we don't lose our pick this year, we don't have to tank and Philly gets our pick.
What's missing from how crazy good Curry's 50-40-90 club stat is that he did it on 30PPG. Only Kevin Durant is the other to do it and he did it on nearly 1/3 the 3PTA.

What if they want to maintain some stability at their coaching position? It's not Byron's fault that they've signed Kobe to a ridiculous contract that hampered their ability to develop a decent roster that he could work with. I'm not saying that he's a good coach, I just see why he could get a pass and return as the coach for the Lakers for the next season.

So a Perry Jones Redux.....
Curry shattered his own 3-point record this season, hitting 402 treys. The man broke the record of 286 — which he held — with 24 games remaining on the schedule. The 402 smashed the old record by 40 percent. The dude nearly doubled the previous record — that's Ruthian. According to FiveThirtyEight, that's the equivalent of hitting 103 homers in a season in baseball.
I wonder if Steph will be the first in the 50/50/90 club one day
Kawhi Leonard was hella close too and with the defensive load he has to take every night he plays...

Hey brehs, just thought I'd check in since it's been a while. I got to take the gf to the Spurs last home game against the Thunder. It wasn't a great game, but we got two free car flags out of it and it's probably the last time I'll get to see Tim play in person.
On a personal note, I'm fucking terrified about my incoming unemployment. My AmeriCorps VISTA year ends next Friday, and I haven't even gotten any call backs for interviews even though I've been at the job hunt since late Feb/early March. Starting to fill out apps with temp agencies in the past few days. So keep your fingers crossed for me and and injury free playoffs this year

I don't disagree that Byron was dealt a shit sandwich, though I do disagree to to the extent that it was Kobes contract that created that sandwich. Either way though, a big part of the reason he was hired was due to his relationship with Kobe, who is now gone. So our focus should change to youth development and building a system and not navigating and old crank to retirement. Something Byron hasn't shown he's capable of doing. I definitely see an argument for stability, but it's not like we're the Kings.
