By Colonel Nasty Go To PostWe're all just waiting for the draftNot all of us... :(
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostMJ absolutely cares. He's always maintained that his team was the best team all time, and in any debate he says "You can't debate with 72".He hasn't even bothered to be interviewed on it like that this season I think. At least not outside of ambush sideline reports
MJ is the most competitive dude in the world privately even if publicly he sometimes tries to seem gracious.
Meanwhile, he'll drop hard shade on LBJ every 9 months.
He thinks he's the GOAT everything. 72 wins, 6 rins, stats, whatever... if one record breaks he'll just be a jerk with another one. He's that kind of guy.
By domino Go To Postyeah right. MJ betting on whether the warriors win the last game or notstraight up lol
he probably gonna play a round with the currys after the season is done, win lose or draw

By KingGondo Go To PostGun to my head, I probably put them right at 60. Maybe 61 or 62.By Psy-Chan on Gondo's OKC's Record Prediction Go To Post60 wins baseline sounds like you expect them win 70.
By DY_nasty Go To PostCeltics as a 5 seed?
IWMTB pls they have no bigs
and i thought you hated marcus smart
By DY_nasty Go To PostThat interior is charmin
sullinger is gonna be injured again
olynyk is aite
zeller is inferior
amir is a goat role player
that's not getting them into the playoffs
By DY_nasty Go To PostDamian wont be shit
By blackace Go To PostBy Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostI think the East is better this year and that the amount of wins needed to get to the playoffs in the East is higher than .500
a team that was 500 was the 6th seed last year… so two teams under 500 made it in last year.
By Smokey Go To PostCan't speak on other teams right now, but I think if Lawson gets his shit together Rockets are a solid 3 seed at worst.
Our PG situation last year with Prigs and Terry was tough, but still managed to have a good season. Lawson gets the ball out of Harden's hands and hopefully doesn't require him to exert so much energy during the season.
Again assuming he gets his shit straight.
That's nothing compared to this gem:
By shun Go To PostI'll take a bet with Gondo whether or not the Thunder make 60 wins.
I say no and that either the Spurs or Warriors crack 60+ wins.
If neither make that threshold the bet is off. Loser has to go buy a jersey and make a video of burning jersey of the winner's choice.
eg: Gondo loses, he buys and burns a Kevin Durant Jersey. I lose I burn my Chinese New Years Warriors Jersey.
Come on Gondo prove to us how much you think the Thunder will win 60+ games.

Sixth Man: Iguodala
WCF: Warriors over Spurs in 6
ECF: Cavs over Raptors in 6
Finals: Warriors over Cavs in 5
I'm befuddled by why I had the Nets so high. I guess I thought them having nothing to tank for would help them record-wise?
Rockets, Pelicans, Suns were obviously huge misses. Expected AD to become a great defender, expected the Rockets to be as good as last year, and I thought Tyson Chandler wasn't a dead body (and I expected the Suns and Pelicans rosters to not look like Syria).
And my CotY guy got fired, but honestly, don't think that prediction was that terrible at all. Warren could have won Most Improved as well if he stayed healthy.
After the SAS-GSW game ended, I put on the original Blues Brothers movie. Man, I forgot how fun it is!
----
I doubt I will do any predictions because shit would blow up in my face so damn hard. I ain't much good at predicting things outside of my Pels and a handful of other teams.

By shun Go To PostDy why do you hate every UNC player in the NBA. Legit curious.
probably because none of em are any good. im actually curious as well.
we both share a distaste for Roy's coaching.
also that bet w/ gondo...damn
By domino Go To Postprobably because none of em are any good. im actually curious as well. You know what it is. Its not that I hate them, its that i know what they are better than most because I'm a loyal, pessimistic UNC fan who accepts the truth.

Roy raises trash.
If:
Jazz beat Mavs
Jazz beat Lakers
Clippers beat Grizzlies
Warriors beat Grizzlies
Then the Jazz get the 6th seed. None are daunting on their own, but all together :/

By masud Go To PostCan't find my Knicks prediction but I remember saying mid 30s so I wasn't too far off.
Yea I said 30-40 and ended up with 35 once Reilo wanted to me double down on that number. Then the collapse happened. But considering how little depth this team had and how much time either Melo/Porzingis/Afflalo missed it's not that unimpressive.
Going 22-22 with Afflalo missing the first couple of weeks and Melo missing like 5-6 games in that stretch that all led to losses was pretty impressive in retrospect.
I do think that a couple solid off-season acquisitions, improvement from Porzingis, and Thibs is enough to get them a playoff seed next year and for the foreseeable future. Just not sure any of that is going to happen.

nailed the top 4 in the west had rockets in the lower half and mavs making it. decent enough.
east is just.. not good, i had miami missing the playoffs?
at least i believed in Curry
By linsivvi Go To PostAll those Blazers last place predictions though….always struck me as weird, a star player plus good coaching is almost always a decent team. Obviously people didn't expect them to be as good as they are though.
if scheduling works out i will able to catch one of the first two Clippers playoff games at staples 🙏🙏

Philadelphia 76ers Managing General Partner Josh Harris announced today that the team has named Bryan Colangelo as President of Basketball Operations.
As part of the transition, Jerry Colangelo will relinquish the role of Chairman of Basketball Operations and remains as a special advisor to Harris.

I would just like to note that my Wolves win 30 games prediction is still in play. It's unlikely since we never beat Houston, but it could happen.

By diehard Go To Postalways struck me as weird, a star player plus good coaching is almost always a decent team. Obviously people didn't expect them to be as good as they are though.Yeah I doubt anyone in the world predicted the Blazers would finish ahead of the Rockets.
By blackace Go To PostWhat Hinke did to the fans was criminalI'm pretty convinced he wouldn't have stopped, had the owner not stepped in, either.
I've been saying it for a while now, though I'm in something of a position of privilege now with Towns, Wiggins, etc on the roster, there's nothing wrong with being in the NBA's middle ground. The Wolves didn't make the playoffs this year, but they at least have a team that's worth watching, that has a clear direction. I didn't feel ripped off spending money on this team.
If last year had panned out and Rubio, Pekovic, everyone don't all get hurt, I would've been okay with that, even. At the end of the day, it's entertainment. Give paying customers something that doesn't make them feel like chumps.
