Jerry Sloan is suffering from Parkinson's disease plus Lewy body dementia, the former Utah Jazz coach told the Salt Lake Tribune on Wednesday.
During an interview at his home in Riverton, with his wife Tammy at his side, Sloan said he was diagnosed with the illnesses last fall.
He decided to go public with because the Parkinson's symptoms, which include tremors, a hushed voice and sleeplessness, have progressed to the point where people have started to notice.

I can't. First significant decision worth really criticizing him for imo. He lost a couple trades early on, but everyone loses some trades so that's small picture stuff. If he actually hires Rambis though long term, that's deserves all the criticism that goes his way unless and until Rambis proves he's a real good coach (which I have 0 faith in).
The one thing I will say is, I'm not entirely sure this happens until it's a done deal. Phil's said a lot of things and then done a lot of other things so I'll wait till it happens
Maybe Phil just hired Rambis so he can depart to LA faster and then NOT have Rambis available as a coach when he gets here!?!?!

This is what happens when you tank too hard... Colangelo pulling out all the stops to get the Sixers out of Infinite Tank Mode.
Hinkie was friendly with the press, so expect a lot of criticism of his removal in spite of the fact that he produced terrible basketball and bad locker culture.
It's funny, Grant is certainly not explosive driving to the hoop but somehow he manages to get his shot off or gets fouled recently. Still couldn't believe he wasn't getting 20 minutes a night earlier.
