It's true that this season is anomalous, but it is also true that this season they really should have been up for it. They fell off a cliff since January and a lot of that looked down to Arsene's inability to manage or motivate his team. I guess that is a familiar scene for Arsenal supporters?

Difference is Arsenal have always been one of the top three clubs of England, Roma have never been that relevant in Italy.

Nobody is arguing that Arsenal are a top team or any of the delusions of grandeur that you've concocted for us either. We just want us to use some of the resources at our disposal and maybe show a little balls once in a while. And to be proactive rather than reactive.
