Leicester on the verge of winning the title
And only a fraction of the stupidity that Van Gaal served up yesterday.
For a club like Leicester City it is much more easy to buy players. Also the pressure of the transfer of players is less big and also the pressure on the players to perform is less big. So it is a big difference.
You have to pay much more. You have to pay the agent and also the bigger clubs have a big say on the transfer so it is not so easy. And then you have the player himself.
We have played at a certain level, we have played some fantastic matches but we have also played some lousy matches. But I think every club has played lousy matches, also Leicester City. But they have won the lousy matches.
We are still in the first five - last season we were in the first four so the difference in points is no bigger than it was with Chelsea.
real sociedad at anoeta feels like dropped points at this part of the season
jese, mayoral and vazquez are our only forwards and they're youth products, time to step up
I'm just so shocked what wenger has come out and said about the fans. Do you think if he was at Liverpool, city or Chelsea he would have lasted, wenger what the hell man, we've blindly followed your lead for the best part of a decade without real reward. Does he think because he has an economics degree that fans are stupid.

It's pretty good. If it's your first Murakami book then you'll love it.
I used to think Friends was funny, like 12 years ago, but now if I watch it I don't laugh at all. Seinfeld still gets me rolling though. 10 years later Always Sunny is still gonna be GOAT too.

The only episode I like after is the one with the Europe Story.

Although I think Arsenal will fix up. As usual.

Planning a trip this year and the earliest we'd be able to go is around July/August but I've heard the weather/humidity gets really uncomfortable?

It can be uncomfortable but it's really not that bad. If you're used to California weather then it'll be a bit hard, but the South and the east coast are as bad if not worse in the summer.
That said if you can come in fall, I'd go for that. There's a long period of really nice weather from mid September to early December.
Batong I want to know your opinion about it
Thanks

I still like LVG though. I just want him out.

There's a bit of a myth around Giggs as player as well.
Great. You played until you were 40. Eight of those years were wank and you clearly weren't arsed in many matches.

I like Seinfeld as well even though I don't have the same personal connection with the show. Been watching it mostly during the later years.
I've also never really understood why people tend to compare the two when they are so vastly different in character.

but not the part about Sunny
I didn't like Seinfeld 12 years ago and I still don't like it now. Curb is just so much better and is mostly without Jerry Seinfeld, who might just be the most unfunny and shitty sitcom character... Well no that's not true, because someone just mentioned Friends and Phoebe is just the worst. Has anything she said ever been slightly funny? At least Friends I thought was pretty funny for a while, even though most of the characters quickly became bad parodies of themselves. Joey and Ross particularly.
As much as It's always sunny is impressive for it's longevity, it still kind of pales in comparison to the big sitcoms of the 90s; always sunny only has 10-13 episodes a season and so in total episodes it's still 100 short of the likes of Seinfeld, Friends and Frasier, all of which were pretty damn consistent throughout as well.
I still laugh a good few times every Friends episode even though I've seen them all a million times
Speaking of laughs, episode six of Kimmy Schmidt S2 made me laugh about every fifteen seconds.

Yeah but Sunny is this tiny little show where the actors write and direct and create everything on a limited budget, and I can only imagine that the amount of energy expounded for 13 episodes can't be that dissimilar to 22 for Friends or Frasier. For consistency over ten years - not 100 episodes, but in terms of actual time - , I think it's pretty spectacular.

One interesting thing I remember was in Gary Neville's book. Apparently Giggs was one of the worst hazers. No surprise though.

They get compared because they're the two most popular 90's sitcoms that had long lifespans.

Finished The Ranch on Netflix today. Good as ambient noise/visual while playing Football Manager.
By Oddinho Go To PostThey get compared because they're the two most popular 90's sitcoms that had long lifespans.I realize that but that fact doesn't hinder a lot of people to still have a tendency to weigh their individual qualities against each other despite not being very similar shows.
Dumb thing to get hung up on but even so I find it annoying.

Comparing individual points doesn't work, I'm looking at it more broadly.

What Seinfeld does is actually bring you in to the 90's. You can watch it decades later and not feel like you can't keep up with the culture of the time. Its all self aware and manages to poke fun at itself, where Friends constantly aspires to be emotionally moving and the characters lovable.
The best "sitcoms" are from Great Britain anyway:
Keeping Up Appearances & The Vicar of Dibley.
Nothing comes close. Perfection.
