I left it in to get fixed and they called me back and said it wasn't just the digitiser that was broke but the controller (I think) needs replacing too and that's what is going to take so long to get here.

You'd expect Asus, Acer and the like would be all over DP 1.3 and have new monitors ready to go when lil' Pascal / Polaris hit in a month or three. I don't recall any announcements of the sort though, so idk. I'll stick with what I have for another year, which is why I haven't been following the 21:9 market closely these last few months. It might be purely a tech issue as well, getting IPS to run at 144hz+, but I doubt it.

I don't trust Squeenix either, I do however have faith in the Eidos Montreal lads. Especially after they admitted that they did in fact shit the bed with Human Revolution's bosses and tried to do something about it in the Director's Cut / DLC.
