By sam777 Go To PostI think there is a good chance that Leicester will keep many of their main players including Mahrez and Kante. Plus with all the extra revenue they will get they can add a lot more quality in other areas as well..They won't be able to add much at all without selling. I don't know the exact figures, but let's say they get an extra £100m to their revenues for next season. Can they go out and buy 3 £30mil players with that? No, as there are lots of other costs to considrr. Wages for that type of player can be 100k a week. You have to pay signing on fees, agent fees, and budget for various bonuses that may be in the contract. Such a transfer can easily rise to £50m just for the first year. So could they buy 2 30m players? Again no. Leicester are a small club with a limited wage budget. Chances are there is a careful structure with top earners taking at most 50k a week. As soon as these players see a new guy come in making much more than them they'll be asking for big increases commensurate with their squad positions. Especially the in demand players who will have huge offers from elsewhere. So one extra player can have a massive effect on the entire wage bill and basically eat up the entire extra money they've generated.
The worst part is that if they don't make some big moves then the likes of Mahrez would probably want out due to the lack of ambition. They'd have to do extremely well with their transfers to be in a strong position next season.
People talking about Renato Sanches like they have any idea what they're talking about is jokes.

But there's not much to know. Renato is a fat winger from a C-tier league team, which has the wage budget of 14 million €, that reached the CL quarter-finals and lost to Bayern Munich.
Most big signings are a waste of money anyways. Lester will be looking to find the hidden gems and capitalize on the rest of the league.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostLeicester has rich owners they have no reason to sell anyone this summer. It isn't a matter of needing to sell them -- the players do have a lot of say in the matter and if Kante has a release clause, there's a good chance some of the other players do too. Leicester won't want to completely destroy their wage structure and if Chelsea or PSG come in and offer Kante £200k a week and Leicester offer him £80-100k, he'll push to leave.
These players understand that there isn't any sort of guarantee that Leicester will keep this level of success up and they'll never have the same spending power as the big 6 clubs in England, even if they have wealthy owners. You take the pay day when it's available.
By ATTICUS H Go To PostI haven't seen any games he's played in, and I'm NOT saying he's fat, but it seems like Renato is exactly the same type as player as Anderson was, but is showing more potential then he did at that age. Am I mistaken?Anderson was the next Ronaldinho.
He had huge potential and looked good in his 1st season iirc. Consistantly got injured and he just turned into meh
Leicester and their financiers will be tested. The ambitions of their players (mainly Mahrez, Kante, Vardy) will also have questions to answer.
This is what it's like to play at Benfica, Porto or Sporting and have a stellar season. You make the papers and everyone assumes you can be had. And they're mostly right. But we'll see. It's going to be an interesting summer.

if they all stay it will be as shocking as leicester winning in the league in the first place.
I hope they all stay

Leicesters owners have deep pockets and the new TV deals will give them extra cash not to mention money from advertisements, UCL,etc
They can definitely afford to keep hold of their players it's totally up to the players whether they want to stay or not.
Come on chaps, we know the score here.
If the wealthier clubs come for the players, they will go. Maybe not all of them, but some of them will go.
Leicester's main concerns for next season need will be 1) somehow continuing to get every last bit of performance from their players and 2) totally restructuring their match preparation to cope with midweek games.
Two very difficult circles to square.

Juventus win their fifth consecutive Scudetto, something the club only achieved once before from 1931-35. No team had ever won the Serie A title after losing four of the opening 10 rounds and picking up one point in the first three.
Since Serie A returned to 20 teams in 2004-05, Juve are the first side to win the Scudetto without being Winter Champions. In fact, they didn’t reach the summit until Week 25. After 10 rounds on October 28, Juve were 11 points off then-leaders Roma, nine adrift of Napoli, Inter and Fiorentina.
No side in Serie A history had managed to win 24 out of 25 games in a single season.
For the fourth time, Juventus take the Scudetto with a decisive final result against Fiorentina. It already happened in 1935 (1-0), 1958 (0-0) and 1981 (1-0).
Daniele Rugani picked up the first yellow card of his Serie A career at the 53rd appearance. His last card at club level was in Serie B during Siena-Empoli on March 1, 2014.
Juventus are the side against whom Fiorentina have suffered the most defeats (72) and conceded the most goals (252) in Serie A.
In his Serie A career, 19 penalties did not beat Gigi Buffon (13 saved, six off target). He parried spot-kicks from Oliver Bierhoff, Ronaldo (twice), Enrico Chiesa, Roberto Muzzi, Marco Ferrante, Stefano Fiore, Roberto Baggio, Francesco Totti, Emanuele Calaiò, German Denis, Lorenzo Insigne and Nikola Kalinic.
Mario Mandzukic has 10 Serie A goals, but eight of them were match openers. The Croatian has found the net in four of his last five League games.
Paul Pogba provided the assist for six of Juve’s last 13 League goals.

im wondering who can be sold
Vardy is like 29 and relies on pace. Don't even have to explain that one.
Mahrez is good but I feel it is because he is at a small club with no pressure. Feels like he's been missing in a lot of games too. I think he will flop at a big team.
Kante is solid but not mind bendingly good
Who else is there
Leicester work because they work as a team. They defend well, counter well, pass well. They are always in high spirits and love to turn up against big teams. Praise Ranieri.
