Couldn´t watch the match but Sporting did their job and won 2-0 against União da Madeira, goals from Teo Gutierrez and João Mario. We have clinched the 2nd place as we have a 10 point advantage over Porto with only 9 left to play. Apparently we have also reached the club record of wins in a season with 24 wins and we still have 3 games to play.
Once again, we are top of the table until Benfica plays tomorrow at Rio Ave. Next week is going to be a tough match as we visit Porto.
