I prefer the other two to this to be fair. I kinda like the central nexus and then transporting around.
But I love how this world is connected.
I think BB is my favourite just because I think it is easier to get into. There is so much levelling up of weapons and stuff that it is confusing to find what is the best.
I do think that Da is better than De overall. I never understood the tendency, the crystal lizards were annoying. The gameplay seems better on this and the worlds much more open and varied.
I just like hoping in and out of worlds without having to do backtrack.
I believe there is something that allows for transporting between bonfires, so when I find that it will be interesting.
I went with a dex build for my Iaito sword.
