Good fuck 1Password 8 is worse than v7.
Particularly, THIS: https://1password.community/discussion/122984/unlocking-multiple-vaults
The UX is just a huge step down.

By reilo Go To PostGood fuck 1Password 8 is worse than v7.Yikes the mobile UX is also a step down. The app acts like a true extension in Safari rather than be part of the native Keychain implementation. Sigh.

Yup. I'm staying on 7 for as long as I can. I tried 8 very briefly and just had problems so reverted back to 7.
Good news, I was able to configure it the way I wanted and not have to use the wonky iOS Safari browser extension.
Under iOS Settings -> Passwords -> Password Options you can configure to use 1Password over Keychain and it behaves more natively and seamlessly which I prefer.

Been using Bitwarden slnce Lastpass started charging for using it on mobile and desktop. Works great for me
By Kidjr Go To PostThinking to upgrade the pixel 6 pro to s23 ultra or hold out for the pixel 8, dunno manWhat are you looking for in a phone?
Variable aperture on a phone is insane. It's not something people would need since the image software on phones is pretty decent at simulating the bokeh effect but it's mad that Xiaomi actually went ahead and put it on.

I've only ever had Google and Samsung androids, I feel familiar with those interfaces
YouTube ReVanced auto skips sponsored sections, auto generated chapters, custom video speeds, identifies and allows you to skip video intros, copy url and copy url at timestamp buttons, god bless!
By Rob Go To PostI think it’s less the tech and more just these dumbass companies trying to get all this info on you.My washing machine needs a constant WiFi connection or it doesn't work lol
Why tf do I need a login for an electric toothbrush?
Printers are the worst because why do I need to type a password on a 5cmx10cm screen?
By reilo Go To Postisn't everything copyrightedlike 90% of stuff out there, probably, yeah
YouTube is getting rid of Stories, a feature for temporary posts, beginning in June. Users won’t be able to post Stories starting June 26th, and existing posts will expire after seven days.lol
It's Tik Tok for people that prefer a good old American company collecting all their data instead of the Chinese.
Stories are Snapchat for people that prefer getting all their social updates from people they don't know
It's another one in the series of "Steal every social video feature and put it in every other app"

Asked in other thread but realized duh it should be here.

NordVPN does not work for me on NBALP. Not sure what the deal is. Tried many different settings, on and off wifi, etc.

Does NBA LP have a "allow this website to access your location" popup?
That would actually be HTML5's W3C Geolocation and using a VPN won't impact that. I know there are some plugins that essentially add garbage data and could very likely make it work.
If it doesn't have that popup.. they can still just block datacenter IP's but Im not sure i have an example of widespread services actually doing this.

I watch all my YouTube on my Nvidia Shield with the STN app, no ads and even skips sponsors, intros, recaps etc.
Been using Bitwarden for my password manager for awhile now and not had any problems really.

Some dude in Reddit had a write up using surfshark and a geolocation blocker in chrome. He turned the VPN off after logging in to NBALP to watch while keeping the blocker on …
Everything on Reddit feels like a VPN bot though
With my new fiber at the door I can get DirextTV Stream but I would be laying 100$ a month just to watch dodgers and lakers.
I watch nothing else on cable :/

If you have a modern router some of them support VPNs at the router level eg Eeros but not sure if that works, either
