I've done the trade-in for an Apple gift card a few times. It's quite seamless. They send you a box, ask you to wipe your shit and give you your credit.

Put your info in and they will ask you a couple of questions and give you a value. It's not really negotiable so it's probably a set rate of some sort. You might be able to get more money back from a third-party retailer, but YMMV.

To be honest, airplay is near flawless for me from my 2015 MBP to a C9, so it’s not like it can’t work, but your wireless conditions are going to matter hugely here.

androids used to be bullet proof but the new ones are just as shitty with PrEmIuM glass.
Gorilla glass protection varies depending on the type of certification the phone recieves. Some goriall glass protection is meant to protect against scratching while other protection is to protect against shattering.

I’ve only broke one iPhone. A 5c, had it a couple years by the time I broke it by dropping it when getting out the car. Landed on concrete, screen was intact but something inside broke because the screen never lit back up.
I miss the 5c/5s size and design.

I've had my LV V60 ThinQ 5G for a little more than two years now and have had it in a relatively thin Sprigan case and the back glass shattered after it fell off the bed and onto the wooden box frame, even while in the case. The screen and everything else is in basically perfect condition. Just the glass on the back of the phone is shattered. So, I just never take off the case now, which is fine because I never did before, anyway.
