Gonna test drive Firefox as my main browser for a month or so. It's already been a day and I miss mouse gestures but the add-ons to enable it require some permissions I'm not comfortable with because Mozilla removed the api to track mouse motions. The add-ons need access to the page itself in order to insert javascript to detect mouse motion. It also means the dom needs to be fully loaded before they activate. :(

By Kibner Go To PostNot yet. I may try it after this month with firefox is up.It's got a few good features for power users. I'm a big fan of custom search (I know this is now a common feature) and grouping tabs.
I miss grouped tabs sooooo much. One of the things that made me the most upset when Opera moved to chromium.

Security researchers are warning of a major new security flaw inside Intel processors, and it could defeat hardware-based encryption and DRM protections. The flaw exists at the hardware level of modern Intel processors released in the last five years, and could allow attackers to create special malware (like keyloggers) that runs at the hardware level and is undetectable by traditional antivirus systems. Intel’s latest 10th Gen processors are not vulnerable, though. What the fuck, Intel

New iPad Pro announced with a much improved keyboard/cover/stand combo:
It also comes with a trackpad:
$299 / $349. Not noice.
It also comes with a trackpad:
The keyboard unfolds and elevates the iPad to a more comfortable viewing position, as you can see above. It also has a trackpad on it. Apple says, “Rather than copying the experience from macOS®, trackpad support has been completely reimagined for iPad. As users move their finger across the trackpad, the pointer elegantly transforms to highlight user interface elements.” You can see very brief examples of it in use in the video below.Noice.

If I'm understanding how the tech works, the earbud case carries charge? So If I charge the case to the max, I can disconnect the USB and when my buds need charging, I can just place them in the case for juice?

Yes.
Not sure about others but the Airpod case can charge the earbuds for up to 24 hours, for example.

My PC is on a wired connection via powerline adapters. It usually works fine, and I was just playing CSGO with no issues. Ate a brownie, came back and had 180ping and my computer is slow as shit. I did a speedtest and it said my ping is 131 with a download speed of like 780kb, yes kb not mb. My Apple TV and PS4 run on wifi and they're both operating perfectly fine. I can watch 4K, my PS download speed is 50MB. Even if I switch my PC to wifi it's still slow.

If that doesn't work, update/reinstall network drivers.
If those still don't do anything, then there's either something gobbling up your speeds on the pc or you're taking to much bandwith away with other devices.
By Lupercal Go To PostReset the powerline and reconfigure it.I’ll try those, but I know it’s definitely not me taking bandwidth with other devices. I’ve always made sure to turn everything else off, close anything on my PC.

I've had a nibbled one which screwed with my speeds until I replaced it.
Apple finally released MacOS 10.15.4 which adds much better HDR support for external third-party displays https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210980
I need some tech purchasing advise, I was hoping to get some guidance here. I’m looking to buy a 2020 MacBook Air to compliment my 2018 iPad Pro. I love my iPad Pro but it doesn’t get the job done the same way as a traditional laptop.
My use cases include media consumption, document creation and I want to start learning to program with Python & iOS development. I was already set on buying the i5 quad core configuration but I’m not sure if I should go with 8GB or 16GB RAM?

16GB, please. The RAM is not expandable and even if you don't think you need it now you very well could in the future along with it holding a higher resale value with 16GB.
If the rumours are accurate, this new iPhone SE could be right up my street. It's becoming a real struggle to find a new phone with a <6" display – that's just too big for me to use comfortably with one hand.
Finally started on my pc build and wtf!
Wtf is this shit?
Not trying to run windows but im going to have to because I refuse to learn command line.
Rate my early pc build:
Hzxt 210i case
Motherboard: MSI B450I
CPU: ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Either rtx 2060 or 1660 S
PSU: Undecided
Storage: 2 tb (undecided)
Ram: 32 gigs
Windows 10 costs $140???
Cooling: 4 Nocturna fans minimum
LG 25UM58-P 25" is the monitor Ive owned for two years.
Do I really need the 2060 gtx jawn for the monitor I use? I wanted an itx era but it adds almost $100 to the build.
Im sticking with consoles so this is more of a backup game station/content creation place.

Bought the S20+ for my wife today. Didn't think the difference in the Ultra was really worth it (i.e. camera), and the specs are otherwise identical.
Phone purchases hit different when you out right buy it vs the monthly payment 😬
Personally feel the Note10+ is more suited to her as she does a lot of photo editing and the like on her phone, but the phone was too big for her. Been really happy with my Note10+ and she desperately needed a replacement, so here we are.
Hopefully neither becomestoo trash as time goes on

The pricing on the OnePlus 8 is crazy. $699/$799 for the regular and $899/$999 for the pro.
I don't think I could stomach flagship prices for a phone with a camera that mediocre.

I'm looking at whatever ATT has the cheapest out of Galaxy S10+, Razer Phone 2, and LG V50 Thinq. Or, if they won't give it to me cheap, a Pixel 3A X1.

I just ordered a Pixel 4, which I could finally justify for $500.
Still rocking my Pixel XL here...
S20 Ultra was too disappointing to upgrade.
Dunno what my next phone will be 😢

Let me know how that Pixel 4 is. Someone recently asked me about it (they're using a pixel 2 atm).
All I ask for is a headphone jack and more than 128 gb of storage with a decent camera.
Is that too much to ask for?

Apple has officially announced the new iPhone SE, a lower-cost iPhone that starts at $399 for a version with 64GB of storage. It has the same basic shape and look as the iPhone 8, which means it has a 4.7-inch screen, large bezels on the top and bottom, and a home button with Touch ID. It’s a design that has stayed consistent since the iPhone 6, which makes the iPhone SE essentially the fifth generation of that same look. Apple knows this design well.
It is available for preorder this Friday, April 17th, and it will ship on April 24th. There will be a 128GB model offered for $449 and a 256GB model for $549. Like other iPhones, it will come with a free year of Apple TV Plus. It will come in black, white, and Product Red.
The iPhone SE is essentially an iPhone 8 with a better camera and processor — and a lower price tag. Although it’s a relatively old design, this iPhone SE has Apple’s A13 Bionic chip, the same that’s available in the latest iPhone 11 and 11 Pro models. Not a bad deal if you like the older form factor with TouchID.
