The real question is after 8 weeks of being the undisputed man, will Westbrook have any fucks left when Durant comes back and needs time to get back in rhythm?does westbrook currently give a fuck about durant's needs?
In case anyone was wondering, KD has what is called a Jones Fracture, a fracture of the fifth digit, near it's base. What the hell do you have to do to fracture that bone?
For athletes, you have to stabilize the foot via surgery. Hopefully he heals quickly and can return to full strength with no long term issues.
Either trauma or overuse leading to a stress fracture, of which the latter seems to be the case for KD.
lol
Can't get into these pre-season games, so boring
I usually don't get into the NBA until around Christmas. If it were not for being on this board, the NBA probably still wouldn't exist in my mind.
I see the speculation on YNB's freedom is in full swing.
So all those minutes Durant's been playing finally caught up to him? Or is this more of a fluke injury?
Jackson is injured too.Good thing the Thunder have two more star scorers to take on the load.you mean three.
YNB,Lamb(of God) and Jackson.
And really, massive minutes for YNB with his knee history isn't a good idea.
Lets watch brooks do it anyway.

More likely minutes.
Beal has a scaphoid fracture and that's gonna need surgery too. At least it's not his shooting hand.
Second Knick pre-season game looked a lot better. Fisher made sure to pretty much go through the whole bench, and they still managed to score 96 points.
Melo was great on D, had some slick blocks. And of course, he shot 50% and looked fantastic.
Dalembert also played well defensively.
Calderon started feasting.
Shump looked nice.
Travis Wear has a lot of potential. If the Knicks don't pick him up, he's going to end up becoming a solid player for another team.
Larkin can be pretty crafty, surprisingly.
I have a suspicion that JR isn't going to get as many minutes as he expects this year, his shots aren't falling like they should and he's looking for 3s too often. He's also not even attempting triangle.

Yea this warriors team will be dangerous now with a competent coach. Kerr and gentry are a lot better than mark jackson
I hope things get better for the lakers, i want that pick

52-20 lead for the Warriors, the corpses are 1-14, and Ronnie Price just threw a shoe:

Hahaha Byron is so bad
RT @brosales12: By my count, Dubs have five FGAs that aren't threes or in the paint. The Lakers have 26. TWENTY-SIX. And with only two 3PAs. #WELP

Randle isn't getting anywhere near the rim, develop Julius stupids, it's the only thing worthwhile this season.
It's only preseason, guys. Doesn't mean anything. Lakers gonna hoist a championship banner by the end of the...

he's on that nba 2k15 cpu offense strategy,
league a'int ready
Why is Marcus Smart pretty much not taking any shots that are not jumpers? Can he not into the lane or is it a chucking thing?
cant wait until Kobe comes out with his scorched earth attitude despite the team literally holding their future in stasis for two years just to worship him
Most of the sophs look much improved--Porter, McCollum, Burke, and KCP have looked good so far.
Wondering what LBJ's statline might look like this year. Blasphemy I know, but this is a perfect year for him to gun for DPOTY and to have a career high in assists. Something like 19 ppg, 9 apg, 6 RPG. That's a lot less shots and I don't know if LBJ would be up for that, but Waiters is entering his third year and there are two other offensive juggernauts in the lineup. For the sake of winning and locker room harmony it might be best...

What the fuck ESPN. There was no need to embed a picture of a shirtless Chandler Parson's off of his Instagram account in an article discussing Carlisle's comments about Parson's conditioning.
Reporter: In all the years that you played, can you remember being on a team that started 2 for 23?
Kobe: Yea, I mean probably right? I probably started like that myself before
Reporter: How would you rate your game tonight.
Kobe: It was horseshit...I mean seriously?
Good to see he's not grouchy yet.

How sad it is that i'll be hyped if we are 3-0 in the preseason after tonight?
Not at all fellow TankBro.
The Preseason is where we can almost forget the upcoming pain.
wrong thread but everyone deserves to see how bad live 15 looksIt still has that Live thing going on where it doesn't play like real, organized basketball, but I'm shocked at how bad it looks graphically. The animations look bad, the players look bad and move worse, the jerseys look bad and move weirdly.

I want 2K to have some competition, but EA might as well not even ship this.
Well, all those years that went into Live 14 really paid off, so...I want 2K to have some competition, but EA might as well not even ship this.AGAIN?!
I have no hope that Live will ever be good again (when was the last decent one? 03 or 04, maybe?), especially not on a one year cycle building off garbage. And if you're, EA, what's the point? Live isn't a brand, anymore, not one that means anything good.
NBA Elite was a misstep because that game was broken. I think the idea to take it off the market for a while and retool was right, though. We're reaching Triple Play Baseball levels of unsalvageable here.
Rodeo missed the draft… :3Yeah, but I did set my player rankings for once. I didn't end up with Amare or Deron Williams this time! No, sir!
How bad is the Lakers' transition D going to be if they aren't spacing the floor for three-pointers with two players behind the freethrow line? Although that's probably a moot point given old-Kobe's Harden-esque defense and well, Lin and Nash don't scream transition defenders.

I think this thread is talking entirely too much about a really bad team with a bad coach.
Ugh. This whole season depresses me. The team will be almost unwatchable. Durant and George are hurt. Clippers are now a feel good story. I somehow don't care about the neo-neo cavs.
Worst of all, for my birthday my girl got me row 4 seats to Lakers-Charlotte in early November. She spent entirely too much for those tickets. I mean, don't get me wrong I'm appreciative and all, but if she was going to spend that kind of dough, I'd have preferred something else than being up close to see Born Ready deep-dick my team (at least let me see a team with a real superstar, hell I'll take John Wall even). I've never been this not excited to go to a game and I feel terrible about it.
( I even saw this coming and I dropped hints that unless it was to see Lebron or Durant, I don't really care too much to see a game in person this year on the hope she wouldn't buy me the obvious gift...)
Ian Begley @IanBegley about 1 hour agoSo Phil, Fish and the staff have the Knicks players doing "mindfulness training" and I think meditation. Lakers-GAF wanna gimme a rundown of what it is? Sounds like Phil did it with the Bulls and Lakers also.
Fisher on #Knicks mindfulness training: "It falls into the category of mental performance…. We take it seriously."
Yes yess yesss
I feast on Lakers-fans misery. It consumes me. It powers me. All over my chest.
At least we didn't re-sign Chris Kaman, though. Have fun with that one!

Al Iannazzone @Al_Iannazzone about 1 hour ago"We know Amar'e is old and busted, so we trying to see if Acy can play D and board with better players around him who aren't Amar'e or Bargs"
Bargnani (hamstring) will sit again tonite. Fisher said he'll start the same way as Saturday: Calderon, Shumpert, Carmelo, acy and dalembert
Chris Herring @HerringWSJ about 1 hour ago
Fisher, asked why Acy is starting over Amare at PF, says he's trying to see what Acy can do w better players. Says Amare is known commodity.
