Robert Upshaw terminated by NBA D-League for violating anti-drug program.

By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostAt the end of the season we really need a poll about which organization was literally the worst this year. It will be amusing at the very least to see all the reasons trotted out for everyone's vote.
going to have to see how the off-season goes first i think...a lot of fukkery was done for favorable results then

Monty Williams missing the rest of the season to be with his family. :(
I would not be surprised if he retires to take care of his kids until they finish high school.

Very tragic situation all around. Guy couldn't be handling it any better though. Very, very good human being Monty seems to be.

Dawg.
I literally JUST googled Robert Upshaw to see how he was doing, first article about his improvements as of Feb and then I set the search criteria for this week only and saw a string of tweets about him getting booted for violating the drug policy.
He just blew a ton of money for himself. Good that LA rids themselves of him now rather than later.
Damn shame.

Beating the Nets is part of their movement. A Sixers win put the Nets lost total closer to the Lakers lost total

Brooklyn is out of time, they'd have to lose every game left on their schedule. Lakers on pace for 3-4 more wins by their current win percentage + outside of Phoenix NY and Sac, not too many winnable games left
Suns have a slight chance cause they have 2 games against LA left, but pretty certain LA sticks at #2

There's just as much talk of the suns going for Bender.
It also makes little sense. Brown seems to be an inferior version of TJ warren, and Booker is a SG who can shoot.

This drafts version of porzingis.
Is it sad this is the first starting lineup I have seen since the early part of the season that makes sense for the Pelicans?
We have shooters at 4 positions, defenders at 5 and everyone plays cohesive basketball together in this unit. I guess since I am riding on the tank Im happy Gentry didn't try this earlier this season.

Sixers are legit murking each other on the court.
Jerami Grant kicked Robert Covington in the face as he was falling to the ground, and Bob is still down.
tank sins are strong

I wonder if the Pelicans have fielded a starting unit all season that before their first substitutions scored 21 points and held a team to 8 less points?
I think this is a first. I know the Grizzlies are not at full health but we have struggled against worse starting units. Bad time for Gentry to start making sense with his starting lineups....Need Cole to return so Gentry can go back to giving him the green light to play fuck-ball for the first 10 minutes of games.

I still don't want him as the PHX coach. Ugh. But I can see it happening. Unfortunately.

Was Hornacek really that bad? He seems like another guy that kinda got a raw deal. I always sorta liked him and how he seemed to get guys to over achieve. But I am by no means that qualified to speak about the Suns.

Sixers Legend Scott Brooks is our next coach...I know he can't wait to teach future HOF Jaylen Brown.

But the team implosion and Markieff sandbagging his whole career just to get back at Hornacek / the Suns FO left the whole thing in an untenable position. Add in a few key injuries, the ownership thinking that they were a top 4 west team and.......
I think any team would do well to have him, but I think he'll get time as an assistant before he gets another head coaching gig.

Which I really liked. That was kinda the impression I got too. Kinda sucks to lose a good coach in that sort of situation.... Though on the upside, we could of been smart and not matched Eric Gordon, not sure even your otherworldly medical staff could of saved him.
