By reilo Go To PostBatum is like the Ricky Rubio of Small Forwards these days, geez. How dare you
By DY_nasty Go To PostHow dare youHe does everything exceptionally well except shoot these days. I don't get it. He used to be a damn efficient player early in his career (consistency aside), but now he's just not the same. Is his wrist still bothering him?

I haven't checked the numbers
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostI guess we're using different definitions. You're talking about the league and their marketing or propping up of a person, I'm talking about the "passing of the torch" idea of passing to the guy/guys who carry the league.
But oh well, it's not that important
3SP is the batman to SLAENTS joker
Kill you? I don't wanna kill you. What would I do without you? Go back to trolling gondo? No. No. No! No you- you complete me.
It's a pretty lucky coincidence for LA that the projected top 3 prospects right now are all SFs.
Simmons, Ingram & Brown.
Simmons, Ingram & Brown.
By Omzz Go To PostBall handling more than he did in portland?Just checked, and his USG%, AST% and TOV% are a career-high, and DY has spoken on it before that he's running the offense a ton for them, so it makes sense.

Simmons is a PF
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostSimmons is a PFI think it's best just to call him a forward and see where he develops as he matures.
By Kuma Go To PostSimmons dont work with LA imo… too many ballhanlders on that team for him to be effectiveNo such thing as too many ball-handlers. There may be too many people who can't play off-ball, but that is something completely different.
e: Too many ball-handlers is like saying too many guys who can shoot.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostIt'll be tough for Simmons to play wing if he can't shoot. If fat/hurt, jabari can then Simmons should have no trouble
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostYou won't want Ben guarding SF'sI think he's just doing the lazy shit in college
By Kabro Go To PostSimmons is a 4.
Im warming up to ingram though
Tough choice really for the lakers
Eventually, like Bron. He can play the 3 until he bulks up or slows down.
Kurt Helin @basketballtalkNo fucking way.
Rumor: Thunder traded James Harden because he partied too much during 2012 NBA Finals http://dlvr.it/KltYqg
I would like to say "bullshit!" to this article, but man...
By vic Go To PostNo fucking way.stop it lmao
I would like to say "bullshit!" to this article, but man…
By reilo Go To Poststop it lmaoThey traded him cause they couldn't keep him. But this is a fact I wouldn't even question that was a part of the occasion for the Thunder if this was actually true.

Simmons needs the ball to be effective...Ingram is better fit for the Lakers.
By Kuma Go To PostSimmons needs the ball to be effective…Ingram is better fit for the Lakers. If Simmons can function in both roles of a P&R, screen, and slash, then he will be a net positive on offense for a team, even if he can't shoot and doesn't handle the ball a lot.
By knux-future Go To PostIs Jaylen Brown even good?
From the very little I've read he's a good defender with average handles, a good first step and no J.
By knux-future Go To PostIs Jaylen Brown even good?Is anybody besides Simmons? I'm not even totally sold on Ingram as being the sure-fire, second-best player this draft.
I like Murray, but I'm not totally sure he's not OJ Mayo in the NBA. No thanks on Ellensen. I don't think this draft is really all that good.
By rodeoclown Go To PostIs anybody besides Simmons? I'm not even totally sold on Ingram as being the sure-fire, second-best player this draft.real talk....I'm not even all that IN on Simmons either. His jumper is Early MKG tier. And his team is about to be in the NIT.

and he can finish in either hands.
reminds me of a bigger wade.
By rodeoclown Go To PostIs anybody besides Simmons? I'm not even totally sold on Ingram as being the sure-fire, second-best player this draft.yeah there's a huge drop after simmons, ingram and Brown

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostSimmons might not even be good tbhYeah, not all in. He does a ton of stuff well, but he can't shoot and I can't shake the part where his team isn't any good. College basketball isn't that good that I shouldn't expect him to carry LSU. Even Michael Beasley was out here getting K-State to like 25 wins.
Simmons dont give a fuck about college, he's made that abundantly clear.
Ingram is a sure bet, more than simmons imo.
Ingram is a sure bet, more than simmons imo.
I haven't totally dug in on draft stuff yet, but I have some real concerns about Ingram, like his bad free throw rate. Just watching him, he seems to stay more around the perimeter and shy away from contact. He's largely scoring on the strength of his jump shooting, which I don't totally know how that translates when he has to play against grown ass men.
By Kabro Go To PostSimmons dont give a fuck about college, he's made that abundantly clear. No such thing as a sure bet Duke wing
Ingram is a sure bet, more than simmons imo.
By Kabro Go To PostSimmons dont give a fuck about college, he's made that abundantly clear. So, lazy in college. The place that can set him up for life just based on his first contract?

Sounds great, where can i sign up.

By DY_nasty Go To PostI said this about Drummond and learned my lesson.TBH, drummond's game is that of a lazy man. He's still all about his size and body, there's no real skill to his game.
By vic Go To PostNo fucking way.Didn't people post pics of him partying hard during some playoff series?
I would like to say "bullshit!" to this article, but man…
Given where the Wolves will be picking, I'd be inclined right now to take Hield or Murray and hope their shooting translates. Anybody that can make a 3 should be in play (sorry, Kris Dunn).
Simmons is not lazy, by all accounts he has a strong work ethic. He just doesnt have that fire and leadership yet(and may never have it, but that is ok) and he plays with a bunch of scrubs that are reportedly mostly very selfish and actively dis-interested in each other(and this shows on the court) and a coach that is frankly, awful in multiple areas and has been steady underperforming since he got here. Who would likely be fired if he hadn't pulled this once in a lifetime recruiting class and we didn't just have the whole Les Miles fiasco.... Plus he is 19.
Had he gone to Kentucky or another prestigious school with a good supporting cast and a staff that could properly utilize him, this whole conversation would be laughable right now.

By knux-future Go To Posthttp://www.libertyballers.com/2016/3/11/11208610/sixers-jahlil-okafor-surgery-torn-meniscus-likely-miss-rest-of-seasonThe Sixer's injury issues with big man might actually rival our injury issues for guards.
hello god, its me, Knux
I might feel a little bit worse if the Sixers weren't a shit organization that knowingly broke league rules to garner an unfair advantage and screw over my team.

can we block philly from drafting any bigs for the forseeable future?

hello god, its me, Knux
At the end of the season we really need a poll about which organization was literally the worst this year. It will be amusing at the very least to see all the reasons trotted out for everyone's vote.
