Lost in the Cousins discussion is that WCS also had some post-game comments on the coach. Basically, implying that his lack of playing time won't be a problem next year because Karl will be gone.
I do sort of expect Karl to enter the PR and leak stuff to the press ears he knows. Going to be some fun times ahead!

KAT > Porzingis > Booker > Russell > Okafor > Turner
It seems like Russell is kind of getting along this late in the season contrast to early season where he was garbage. Too early to judge compare to KAT Porzingis and Booker

By shun Go To PostKAT > Porzingis > Booker > Russell > Okafor > TurnerIt also helps Russell and Booker (though booker was playing heavy minutes since january, Russell since February) that they didn't start the season playing huge minutes. So that Rookie Wall will hit them later / may not happen. So they're going to finish the year stronger than Porzingis.

Overall I think the top 4 or 5 all look like genuinely good players with the potential to become really good. KAT is the only one I see as a lock to become great, though.

Memphis just made it official, announcing Mario Chalmers (torn Achilles) is out for the season and has been waived to create a roster spot

Chalmers $8m cap hold will stay on the Grizzlies book this summer until he is renounced or signs elsewhere. Has full bird rights w/Memphis.

His contract is completely guaranteed for the year. Grizzlies cover medical, recovery is almost a year.
By blackace Go To PostColdThey have no choice. Sucks but it really isn't all that bad for Chalmers (not including the horrible injury in a contract year thing)
By vic Go To PostMan, pro athletes contracts are something else…Mainly just the NBA ones. The NFL ones are bull shit I believe.
But honestly, the NBA ones are much fairer in that regard. They should get paid if they got injured on your dime.
By vic Go To PostMan, pro athletes contracts are something else…Eh, in a good way.
Lots of relatively young guys getting Achilles ruptures.
Also, I still can't believe the Knicks collapsed like they did. To go 22-22 and then 4-17 in their next 21 is a little crazy. I blame Melo. How u gonna go 4-17 and record exactly zero 40 point games. Any other player in his position would have like 4-6 of those games in this stretch just busting his ass to will his team to victory and he can't even be bothered to get back on D in the final minute of close games.

Yeah NBA contracts look awesome especially when compared to the NFL. Only thing guaranteed is your signing bonus. They're risking brain damage just playing the game and they could be cut in an instant without getting any money I think. Not sure about the exact specifics but seems like NFL guys get screwed over. And I find it hilarious when guys sign "long term" contracts when in reality they're really like 2 or 3 year contracts since they can easily be cut.

Jah has been batting soreness in. His knee for a while now. At first thought it was a punishment for all his speeding tickets and fuckery but it seems like his knee legitimately is bothering him. Could be shut down til next season.

It's too bad the Warriors are such a horrendous matchup for the Spurs. Not sure if a single series goes past 5 games for Golden State this year.

Don't see a team take more than two games off of the Warriors. OKC might be able to do it but they can't get past San Antonio.

What? No way. Melo was pretty much the only one who didn't suck. It was a variety of factors, sometimes KP playing like trash. Sometimes Afflalo being ghost. Bench playing awful. Calderon being...old. And then there was all of the above, or a mixture of two. No way does this streak have anything to do with Carmelo.
