By Moris Go To PostI really like Ed Davis as a back up big, great "garbage man" "does all the little things" "never takes a possession off" "blue collar" and all those other cliche things. He's RoLo without the crazy hair and huge paycheck.oine of the reasons he bounced from the grizz is that he wanted to get paid doe.

Kado, we're fucked. Byron Scott doesn't even know how to tank right. Someone tell these clowns that the goal is to LOSE and get the pick rather than finish this shitty season strong. Ugh. Hold me.
By Dipro Go To Postjust what the Knicks need another geriatric overpaid player.
Dwight has to be the biggest joke in the NBA for the last few years. The guy couldn't care less about winning at this point. He just wantst o get paid and play in a city where he can continue acting the fool. It's quite impressive to see a player whose first half of his career has been so polar opposite the second half.

I wonder how much that decent Pacers team from 3 or so years ago was simply being carried by Paul George now that everyone else looks so washed up after leaving the team.

The Wizards and free agent Marcus Thornton have reached agreement on a deal for the rest of the season, league sources tell The Vertical.

Open try outs in Arlington this weekend for anyone that can help the team get an 8 seed obviously.
This must mean brad is done for the year or something

Chris Bosh @chrisbosh 35m35 minutes agoI have a feeling that Bosh is gonna be dumb and come back this season, still so much mystery around his situation.
Another day at the office in the books!
-reports have it that he had/has a bloodclot in his calf , it didn't travel any farther; is on/was on blood thinners
-Heat haven't said ANYTHING about his absence, he's listed on the injury report without any ailment/explanation
-local radio and beat writers say that he's been trying to find/waiting for doctors to clear him
-He's tweeting about feeling great and he's been working it with the training staff.
Just wish they'd come out and rule him out for the season already.
If he's on blood thinners then he's out for 3 months minimum so even if he comes back it would be rusty and for a late playoff run, which i dont see this team doing unless cleveland just falls apart.

You're not getting around playing a contact sport.

Why is that a thing.
I got a feeling Bosh is done with basketball but they aren't announcing it till the season is done. My guess is they asked him how he wanted to end things on his terms, and that he wants to stay quiet about it and to spend the last few months still being around the team to help relieve boredom, so he can soak up that athlete's life (without the travel) before hanging it up.
Bosh voluntarily retiring means he's forfeiting his contract. Heat seeking a medical retirement gets Bosh paid and his contract gets paid by insurance. That's probably what is happening.
By reilo Go To PostBosh voluntarily retiring means he's forfeiting his contract. Heat seeking a medical retirement gets Bosh paid and his contract gets paid by insurance. That's probably what is happening. If that's the case then he needs to retire soonish so that his contract isn't hitting the heat's cap a year from this offseason. Which is likely why they're exhausting all medical options now so that his retirement does indeed qualify as for medical reasons.
Or maybe he's serious about coming back. I guess we should have an idea by the end of the heat's season given the cap implications tied to his situation.
